Default Someone Tried to Hack my Password

I just received an email that said the following:

Dear Metaphysicist,Your account on Community has been locked because someone has tried to log into the account with the wrong password more than 5 times. You will be able to attempt to log in again in another 15 minutes. The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address:202.61.170.144

I assume that this means someone was trying to guess my password. So I thought it best that I bring this to the attention to those who can - hopefully - track down who it might be. Though I know chances are they used a proxy. Still though....I mean last thing I - or Totse in general - is for someone to gain access to my account - again.

Don't worry, though, after it happened last time I have changed my password to one that is about as secure as I can make it [i.e.: I have numbers and caps mixed in it.

Currently searching all posts on the forum for that IP...

Thanks god it does it automatically, and I don't have to go through every single one. Still gonna take a while, though.

This is probably as good a time as any to check that all mods have secure passwords, since people are making attempts at it.

I have a seemingly-random sequence with lower- and upper-case letters, numbers and punctuation as mine that's 13 characters long (the Totse limit). Victory!

don't change your passworld now though, if I'm not mistaking the thingy that takes care of that is still broken, or was it fixed, I can't remember anymore...

Pretty sure the password issue has been fixed. Mine is more than 10 characters long, and has letters (capital and lowercase), numbers, and punctuation.

The e-mail address is probably fake, since the user was still in "waiting for e-mail confirmation" mode.

That IP traces to adsl-202-61-170-144.dft.net.au provided by a DSL company in Australia. Doesn't look like a proxy...
