is it a bad thing that im constantly lying or changing the topic when people ask me what kind of music i like? i like death metal, grind, basically most music growled and some more mainstream stuff. not like im ashamed or anything (far as i can tell at least) is the metal thing gonna give too negative of a first impression for dating or am i better off not knowing/ dating people who would judge like this?

Provided you aren't trolling (I'm wary of anyone with Acolyte or New Arrival beneath their name), it all depends on the type of guy/girl you're after. If you're going for the typical preppy valley girl type of person, then, yes, your devil music will be a turn-off. But, if your kind of girl/guy is also into that type of music and culture then showing who you really are will be nothing but a bonus.

If you have to hide you really are for your significant other, then they aren't worth having.

c. im conflicted. like i think that a girl whos into that kind of music is awsome(intellegence and appearance pending) but the closest i come is goth type girls who to say it simply, visually, mentally and emotionally unapealing. so to sum up an ideal would be DeathPrepHead but as with all things in life we never get our ideals

B. Trolling is making threads/posts with the sole intention of stirring shit up. Don't do it.
C. Hold out, mate. Be honest about who you are and the things/music you enjoy. Eventually, someone will come along that is perfect. And don't try so hard. If you're just looking to get your dick wet, go for it. But, I'm assuming you're looking for a more meaningful relationship, in which case, go out and have fun. Love finds you when you aren't looking for it.

For instance, concerts can be a GREAT place to meet people. For the most part, everyone there is looking to have a good time, so breaking the ice isn't difficult at all. You know you enjoy the same music. That's two down already. Besides, even if you don't meet someone at a show, you still had a kickass time.

trolling = when you post something you know will cause people to offended/outraged.

For example, if I posted a thread " Just beat my wife with a belt til she bled cos my coffee was cold" that would be trolling (although weak). Although of course as her husband i have every right to beat her whenever I want (you see? That was a troll statement.)

To cool people it wont matter as long as you aren't a devil worshipper yourself, but if you wanna pick up that random chick your best bet is to say you like bands like Greenday (). It also depends on your age, some people might respect you for alternative tastes in music, but if you go to school then you might be in trouble. A girl that liked me completely lost interest after finding out I liked slipknot once. She liked eskimo joe, snow patrol, arctic monkeys and stuff.

That's stupid. If a girl ditches you because she doesn't like your music, she's a fucking whore/slut/bitch and doesn't deserve you anyway.

Fuck that, I listen to a lot of death metal these days. If a chick doesn't like what I listen to then she doesn't have to listen to it.
