SWIM would like to know if school cameras are turned on during the summer. SWIM knows for a fact that nobody will be at the school, so simple question...

I'd say it's safe to assume that they are.

SWIM was thinking about that, but SWIM would much rather have them be off completely... SWIM has a reputation at that school (even though he doesn't go there anymore), and would probably be one of the first people to be questioned... Do you have anything but common sense to back up that they are on? I mean, I'm pretty sure they are, but I want concrete facts.

The school near here leaves the lights on, and people are there sometimes. I use the school to exercise, climbing fences and running.
I figured the cameras would have a motion sensor to activate it, I have something like that on my front door. It takes pictures through a webcam whenever there's motion, so it captures doorbell-ditchers without me sorting through thousands of images.

I think SWIM is asking the wrong question since we can't established anything with out full information upon the school.
How about: How could SWIM out smart the cameras, -Are they all around the school?

SWIM would have difficulty outsmarting the cameras since they are all around the school, and the place he wants to go has a camera pointing directly at it... SWIM tells me he might want to do some night ops, but he'd still prefer it if they were off, pursuant to my previous post.

Speaking of bad ideas, I got caught lighting a fire at the local school. My friend was riding around to the trash so we could get some more paper bags to put in. Then he comes back around and goes, TEACHER COMING! He's on a bike, too. So then a teacher comes by, my friend is long gone, and I'm left telling the guy that I saw it from on the hill, and I was putting it out. (i was putting the fire out too, at this stage)

I got off clean, but now I'm pretty much perma-banned from the school for the rest of the summer.

...Or wear a mask.
