Default Scaling Walls

The need has arisen for me to be able to scale walls of most buildings. I don't much care how, although it would be best to do it as quickly as possible.

If there are ladders/balconies/etc, it's not a problem really, but a straight wall is very troublesome. Is there any method of scaling these walls? Any surface, rough or smooth? Can I buy anything that would help out? Right now, the grappling hook isn't such a bad idea...

The walls are anywhere from 2-10 stories high.

Any thoughts?

I'm not looking to be fucking Ninjaman here. I just need to get up and down buildings quickly, the down part hopefully not involving me being turned into a pancake.

Any ideas? Even good quality materials for rope?

use a mobile ladder. Or a trampoline or look for ledges and stuff to hold on to.

I need something more portable. Ledges are great, but there are times when I don't want to risk scaling a 20 foot wall on ledges alone if I have a better option.

you could always try and make a rope ladder or maybe go all out and buy a grappling hook for the low low price of 20 dollars (some ninja ashiko foot spikes can really help you stick to the wall, depending on the material this wall is made of.

ahh guy above me beat me to it
