Remember when Ving Rhames used something on his laptop to make it have everyone's phone ring around him.

Would something like that be possible?

If he knew everyone's phone number around him and he was connected to a GSM phone network, then yes. But otherwise I'm afraid it's usual movie crap...

not necessarily crap. but, i imagine you have to be quite the wizard to make it work.
