This is going to be my last trip report of diphenhydramine since i think i've begun to do irreversible damage to my brain. :/ But on the positive side, it's a damn good read.

So yesterday I had 14 generic "explenda" or some shit diphenhydramine HCl capsules. Remembering that vitamin C was a stron potentiator, i drank 2 kern's juices, which have a 100% vitamin C in each can. Well considering this was only 350mg of diphen, i expected it to not be very strong. However I had only done the generic shit one other time, as opposed to almost always having used Pfizer Benadryl, so I didn't know what to expect.

After taking the pills it took maybe nearly two hours for the DPH to metabolize and start working. During that time I just watched tv. Then it hit me.

Usually when I did DPH, i would get a lot of visual hallucinations and pretty much zero audio, unless it was a hallucination of a person talking to me. But this time, not only did i have the visual stuff, but I could hear people speaking to each other.

I couldn't quite make out what exactly they were saying, but none of the voices were talking to me, i was pretty much just some bystander. it was like being in a room with two other people that dont know you and are talking to each other. It wasn't scary, in fact I kind of thought it was interesting, but after a while it got annoying and found myself telling them to shut up. For some reason, this worked. Later I figured out that the only time the voices would start talking was when I wasn't thinking about them, i.e. when i was distracted like watching more tv, which ended up seeming incredibly boring and pointless for some reason.

I started feeling sick even though i had eaten earlier, i guess the generic shit is cheap for a reason. I sat down at the computer, got on totse and tried to figure out how to end the trip, and then saw a spider crawling against the desk. I got startled but i wasn't really scared, i just flicked it away and it dissappeared. I still felt sick so I laid down on the couch and got some open eye visuals and closed eye visuals. For a while i kept talking to people that weren't there and then snapping out of it while finishing a sentence or nodding yes or no. It really didn't bug me but I couldn't help but think "if mom or dad come home it would be really obvious that im tripping" but it didn't really bother me.

What bothered me was the fact that i had lost one of the packagings for the DPH and it maybe totaled up to 12 of those little pop-out pill packages. I probably searched the house frantically for two hours, and kept forgetting what i was doing. somehow i started to get a one-track mind like adderall or ritalin (or speed, to be honest) which was weird since DPH makes this almost impossible. I was fuckin freaked because i did NOT want ANYBODY finding those GODDAMNED packages. I kept looking and somehow after a whie i was still tripping but i could remember clearly what i was doing. I knew i was still tripping though because i kept hearing people talking but now it was more tangible, i really thought a man and a woman were talking outside of my house and when i would go out to find them they must have ran to the other side. Plus i would hear something banging on that side of the house, so it seemed even more plausible to me. I couldn't do anything for more than 10 seconds without this coming back, now i figure this was because i kept taking my mind off of it and that;s what made the audio hallucinations come back. I must have tried 5 to 10 times to get back onto totse and ask how to end the trip again since it was lasting too long and i had work, but when i would get on my computer the voices and banging would come back and i would exit out of firefox (still dont know why i did this over and over) and go investigate.

Somewhere in the back of my mind i knew the voices weren't real but the biggest thing on my mind, besides finding those pill packages, was finding those people trying to break into my house. I tried powernapping but this only led to more OEV's but strangely only a few CEV's (open and closed eye visuals). I guess it was because for some reason i kept my eyes open almost the whoel time i was trying to go to sleep. (strangely, I never knew what "power-napping" was until i was as wiped as i was yesterday.)

the audio hallucinations by themselves went away and i just talked to people that weren't there for a little while before going into this kind of sleep where my mind was still awake but my body had shut down. It was really strange but very very relaxing. I don't think my mind shut off at all during the time i was sleeping. it was really weird but kind of cool. I still felt shitty after i woke up, but it was a lot better than how i was feeling before. I went to work still tripping but not as hard, not realizing i didn't have to work until 6.

guy: "What are you doing here? It's 5:00."
me: "well my shift is at 5:30 and i figured i might as well come early and eat"
guy: "Your shift is at 6 today."
me: "oh ok."

so i walked home and did some more powernapping. I felt way better once i woke up again. it was great since time was fuckin crawling by, I felt like i had slept for almost 30 minutes but i went back and checked the clock and only five minutes had passed.

That's when the trip pretty much ended. I decided to never do diphen again after feeling that shitty and not wanting to waste anymore money on that stuff. I had a godo time with it but i'm over it and moving onto something else. My only regret it that i didn't videotape my strange antics.

That's pretty much it. It was weird since I never had audio hallucinations like that. it was even weirder since none of them really seemed interested in talking to me, only talking gibberish to each other. The yweren't hostile or anything, just kind of... there. like a rock on the sidewalk or something like that.

You know how they say hallucinogens can bring out latent mental disorders in people? Well what i'm thinking is that i have some form of inactive paranoid schizophrenia hidden in the back of my mind, and all the diphen did was bring it out into the open. I really don't know. to be honest, I really don't care, either.

not really, i have HPPD but it's not like acid HPPD with swirling walls, or like DXM HPPD (although I do have pretty bad static overlay) but it's pretty much like, once in a while i'll see shit that's not really there, like a dog or fire hydrant that doesn't really exist and then dissappears when I look back. and extremely rarely, i think it happened twice, i get really tired and weighed down and have trouble balancing while walking or even standing, much like diphen. so that's it. :/ dont want to hurt my brain anymore, or at least not in that respect.

Out of all my experiences with diphen I have never seen people or closed eye visuals unless dreaming. Lots of times I just see stuff morph, dance to the music, or tons of spiders forming. Occasionally I'll have an audio thought.

I remember one time while mixing ecstasy with Diphen I dream-walked the day after and apparently did tons of chores my parents wanted me to do without me even knowing i left my room or that they came in that morning to tell me to do them. I made ten dollars.

During the night, I dream-walked to my computer turned on some music and had a remembrance of the rave I went to the weekend before. I woke up sometime later standing in the middle of my room with my headphones on.

I didn't read it but I'm glad to see your quitting that. I tried it twice and I actually saw some pretty amazing shit(keep in mind I've done acid and 2ci also to compare with) but I will not do it again even though I had good experiences.

Any trip report that starts with diphen may as well end with the reporter submitting to an IQ test, and then on to a firing squad, since ANYONE that does diphen on a regular basis will never contribute anything of value to society, except comedic relief.

Why do you hate people who use diphen stupid noob? Because it's a stupid drug that only children or downies do? I think slamming lidocaine is something only downies do.
