what would be the an estimated equivalent dose between xanax and kpins... like how much xanax equivalent to a 0.5 or 1 mg tab. my friend like an idiot downed 4 and a half 0.5mg tabs and went to work....and hes never had a benzo before in his life...gave me one took it 10 min ago and took other one now. and if i have the option would smoking a blunt make this alot better?

As far as anticonvulsive and anxiolytic effects of the two according to the majority of benzodiazepine equivalence charts, they're equally effective.

Recreationally, in my opinion, is a bit different.

I'd say Klonopin is about half as potent. Xanax is far more sedating, though, and doesn't last nearly as long as Klonopin; you'll get about three hours or so from the Xanax and more like ten for the Klonopin- as far as being messed up goes.

The first time I tried these, I took 3 mg k-pin and a couple bowls, and I was pretty messed up but not falling all over the place. This was with no tolerance.

So your friend, who took 2.5 mg and no weed, should be noticeably relaxed, but he should be fine at work as long as he can handle himself.

You get a lot more fucked up if you drink or smoke even a little when you take them. Clonazepam seems to fuck me up more, whereas xanax is just relaxing. Xannies do last a very short time compared to kpins.
