How to answer this question
"Does this make me look fat?"
If you say yes, then they get pissed at you for either being sarcastic or calling them fat.
If you say no, then they think your lying.
How do you respond to that?

I guess this depends on your relationship. My wife and I are pretty cool about things. I really offer my "honestest" opinion whenever she asks for my advice. If it makes her look fat, then that's what it is... simple as that.
On the other hand, when she asks me... "Am I fat?"... I answer that by saying... "you are perfect as of now... I'll let you know when things aren't the same anymore". Apparently. she seems to like both the answers! So yay for me.
