We are alone in this world. We used to be one omnipotent omniscient "god" floating in the void, yet such an existence grew so incredibly boring and numb that in desperation we created this material plane and divided up our essence which then gave life and animation to the material bodies we now use. Trapped on this plane and split up into many seperate consciousnesses we have lost our omniscience and in these material bodies we have lost our omnipotence. Those things are overated anyway.
