I was going to post in SG, but I figured they would just be SG'ers and not care, or Meta would move it.

so I am posting here, which would actually be the logical thing to do.

I have been going out with my girlfriend for two months last Sunday. Love her to death, she is awesome, I love being around her, and can't stand being away from her. We are both 18., and have both just graduated from High School.

She's a druggie/raver, however. She bugs my best friend for Ecstasy all the time and has been asking for acid. As far as I know,she drinks only every once in a while and used to smoke weed. I am not concerned that it is to the point of "taking over her life", But I still don't like the fact of it.

I am one of the cleanest motherfuckers you'll ever meet. In my life, I've had a bottle of Smirnoff Ice and a sip of Skyy vodka. I find drugs very stupid. I am fine with drinking (as long as you're not driving) and am fine with weed as well. I, personally, am surprised she said yes to me asking her to date.

I don't like her doing what she does. I've told her this. But I let her do it, it's her own life. However, I've never really sat her down and talked to her and told her my concerns, which is what I've been leaning towards doing. But I don't know if she'll listen. I pretty much helped her get off cigarettes, and am trying to help her there. She seems like she would listen, and most likely take it into consideration.

Should I be this concerned? Should I let her go, am I being too much of a worrier? Should I really sit down and talk to her? would she think I'm being a "good kid" ,or actually think about it?

I would have gone to one of my friends that know her, but they're my friends..They're going to say what they think I want to hear.

I have come to you for non-biased and truthful opinions. Ask any questions you would like, and please tell me what you think.

Well, that really takes the fun out of it then, doesn't it? I guess you should just have a talk with her, although I wouldn't say that doing E occasionally would classify her as a druggie.

I used to be really closed minded about drugs.. but now I'm okay with most of them.. just not the hard shit like heroin, cocaine, crack, and meth.. mostly just because of problems I've had wth them before.

I'm asthmatic and still smoke weed.. and hell Ecstasy was originally used therepeutically. It's just a real big misconception.

If you really love her, you can understand that. Whether you choose to try them with her or not.

Dude shes your girlfriend, that means you can talk to her about stuff that concerns you, especialy if it is about her. What have you got to lose? You've already mentioned that you dont wanna act like you're worrying so its not like you are going to come across as a nazi.
