I know, but that's the only available place where I don't raise suspicion. I'll push my search for solid state stump remover, but the results could be deceiving.

Lighting off a 1 kg charge would probably be a bad idea though.

I know there's an easy explanation to that, but could you develop so I know we're talking about the same dangers?
I'm gonna light it on an high spot and get the hell out of here after or at least hide somewhere nearby to film the whole thing for youtube. The biggest smoke cloud=the most attention=good. I am planning to light the whole thing (on a spot where it can't light a forest fire) and I just wanted to know if anyone has better ideas...

Well..... The most I have ever done is 5 pounds. It's not a good idea at all. That was one of the more nubish things I have done. You are getting really ripped off on that KNO3 I would buy stump remover it was $2-3 a pound. Also with large ones don't bother melting it, you won't notice the difference and it is not practical.
Also where are you ordering you KNO3 from?
|
I know, I never melt it anymore as it smells, it takes time and I have nothing but a BBQ to cook (I learned my lesson for this one

). As mentionned above, I'll search further for stump remover.
And I'm ordering from Wal-Mart's drug store. They don't ask any question as long as it's not to help you find it on the shelves.

I think arctica did a 20kg smoke bomb once. It was leet.

Holy fucking cow! My biggest was 100g (unmelted) and that was already a lot. I just can imagine the whole fucking city looking at the cloud...

You really should make a bunch of small smokers, so you'll get a hang of making casings/fuzes.

I'll add more sugar in it to get more smoke with less nitrate. Probably a 60/40 mix as it burns smoothly. I'll spread it on a large surface, maybe making a drawing with it like Zorro would do (sorry for the shitty example...) then light the whole thing.
