Default Drama at high school.

W&C, I need your help. I'm getting messed around by a fat Asian kid. He is pretty big and strong, but is shorter than I am. He is at least 50 pounds heavier than me. He basically insults me, and when I insult him back, he gets hurt and wants to fight. Yesterday was the confrontation. I tried not to fight becuase I was sick and had the flu at school. He pushed me and I took a couple steps back, swallowed my pride and walked away. I'm still debating with myself if I should fight or not, and I know if I do, I have a big chance of getting hurt, but hey, I'm going get hurt sonner or later in life, so who cares? Anyways, this guy doesn't punch often. He is more of a wrestler than a boxer. I am the opposite. I want to knock him out if I can, but a knockout punch isn't as easy as it sounds. I also don't have much fighting experience. My last fight was 3-4 years ago, and I hardly fight.

What should I do? Fight like a man, or walk away and not get hurt, and probably be called chicken (although I care more about my future, not getting expelled, I dont listen to rumors)

Thank you.

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but it's the truth. Brace yourself and realize I'm not trying to insult you, but to honestly help you out;

You should really grow up and get out of highschool. "Fighting like a man" is only fighting when necessary, for the sake of personal safety, loved ones, or property. Highschool drama isn't manly in the slightest.

I understand what you are saying. Which is why I backed out. I didn't want to get expelled. But thank you, and no offense taken.

You're welcome. That said, if this guy just starts attacking you, make sure you get witnesses, loudly proclaim you don't want to fight, etc., and then defend yourself. : -). Aim for the jaw, because you may knock an unconditioned fighter out due to mandibular nerve compression. Also, learn to sprawl- this is where you throw your legs out behind you, spread, while pushing against an opponent going in for a takedown.

I recommend taking martial arts of some kind.

But how do you take down a person who is heavier, stronger and can fight better than you?

Same way you take anyone down. You take away their legs.

And if your feeling really mean, you attack the knee caps or ankles.

Don't insult him back. Don't talk back at him. Don't talk to him. Fight back once and leave it at that.

This is high school mickey mouse bullshit.

By "cheating". Get a little help from your homies or whatever kids call them these days.

Get one of those hard plastic kubotans. One of the most effective weapons in history, fits in any pocket, and can be used on your friends in everyday situations.
