Here's the deal folks. I'm in a summer internship program at a university. In my lab are a few awkward nerdy guys and an extremely hot girl who I never expected to see doing this.

All of us goto lunch at the same time and eat together in the cafeteria everyday, so this gives us time to socialize.

In the spirit of science I've decided to do a few "experiments" on this girl, to see how she reacts to different things I say and do.

I understand the cocky/funny method of getting a girl but I just lack the willpower to put a mask over myself like that nor do I think its even worth it. I'd like to see some alternative methods developed. Hopefully this thread can lead to that.

In the first experiment I would suddenly come out of nowhere with a totally brazen comment. It was a struggle to actually have the nerve to make the initial move, but once I did it, the rest followed smoothly.

So, this girl was complaining about this fat bitch who directs the program, saying that she shouldn't wear shorts. I found this kind of funny because she was wearing some extremely skimpy shorts at the time.
So I replied:
"Hmmm...thats kind of ironic because you're wearing shorts shorter than she ever wears right now."

She looked at me, taken aback: "well uh...I'm not fat..."

I looked at her as if I had just realized this. "Well, I guess not..."

So anyway folks, that was my first example of dare-devil brazenness. Feel free to suggest further experiments for me to perform on this unwitting subject.

I disagree with the above poster. And I also disagree with your method of asking us. Mate, we don't know anything about this girl. 'Hot' can mean a million different things. It's up to you to judge her personality, and judge how important she is to you.

If you're going to be brazen, the least important she is to you, the better.

Just be a man and do what humans have been doing for a long time now...Just ask.

If, however, you feel the need to experiment, try the one where you wear womens' perfume under your own aftershave/cologne (If you don't wear none, get some!) and see how that helps you.

And believe me it works...But you've gotta really experiment with the variables, i.e. potency, mix ratio, base scents, etc.

Well here's an experiment you can try: mix up some bleach and acetone and ask her if it smells sweet.

Gotta agree, it's not bold or brazen at all, more geeky, more clueless and what is more 'normal' in the world outside your computer. She probably thinks you're a slightly slow, un-funny nerd about now. Get original, then get back to us.

Yeah, real smooth Romeo. Basicly, you are fucked. You said she's fat. "Well, I guess so". Your comment wasn't funny or anything. It was something obvious that you observed. If you wanted to make a comment, you should have joked about if the fat lady were to wear short shorts like your fellow hot intern. But, you fucked up. And it's not like you had a chance in the first place. Hot chicks don't go for geeks. Unless of course you hide it and are good looking, or at least in good shape.
Good luck next time. Maybe try finding a girl at a Linux convention instead. They would probably be more likely to be your type anyway.
