| Politics: Left, Right, and Center National, state, regional, and local politics. Who's doing what to whom, and what you can do about it. How-to-get-action messages are encouraged. "How the government fucked up my life" stories are encouraged. Sharing new methods for cheating on taxes is encouraged. Sample "letters to congresscritters" are encouraged. Apathy and "I can't do anything" posts are discouraged. Left, right, centrist, or any other form of political-economic systems are all up for discussion. Be prepared to defend yourself, or at least have a good line of bullshit ready. Extensive quoting of economists and philosophers is frowned upon. We want to hear what YOU have to say, not what some constipated, impotent, dead guy dreamt up while suffering from the DT's over a hundred years ago thought. |

Is the Republican Party in fear of collapse?, or a possible Iraq Pullout "soon"?
Search for this on youtube because I don't think anyone uploaded the vid of this, though likely they did.
Today (June 26, 2007) O'Reilly did say that if by Fall of 2007 that the Iraq situation does
not improve significantly, that the US would withdraw troops from Iraq.
Yesterday one of the Prime Republican Senators with the Foreign Relation committee opposed the war publicly.
A few days ago, and such the Illinois Republican Party had 2 major abandonments, one candidate appeared in ads with Barack Obama and the other guy has announced his defection from the Republicans?
So?

Maybe its because capital-R Republicans aren't acting like republicans anymore.
(waits for the ron paul train to bust into the thread).
Or maybe it's because their CIA crack deals left them somewhat bankrupt

Wrong. Other than the CIA's crack done with Reagan financing their shit with the Contras they also used it to keep the Black Man down....literally by placing cheap cocaine in the neighborhoods for people to sell, then popo arresting them

What logical purpose would it serve for the CIA to "keep the black man down" and addicted to drugs?
Wouldn't a crime-free and highly-educated black population be in the best interests of the entire nation?
Anyways, the GOP is far from "collapse". If Hillary is the nominee and Nader runs, whomever the Republican candidate is stands a good chance at winning.

Let's see. Keep them down and out, not allowing them to exercise their rights, to make it easier for the Police to oppress them which it has been doing but had a hard time in the 1960s, until COINTELPRO kicked in and that helped.
Not to mention the whole Gentrification thing, get them all arrested/dead/high/etc, buy off the land much easier and cheaper and gentrify it.
That, and the whole finance their Contra operation.

Say that to the system who had no problem placing Afro-Americans in de facto slavery with the Black Codes.
Or Katrina's response.
Oh, thank you for the info
