Default Going to France and Belgium.

First of all this is my first thread so yay!

anyway, me and my friend are 15 and weare going on a school trip that takes us to France then Belgium and back to England, its supposed to be a history trip to look at battlefields but thats not why we are going...

We want to buy:
Cigars (to smoke or maybe sell)
Ciggarettes (to sell)
Brass Knuckles
Batons
Cool ass lighters
and what ever cool shit we can get our hands on.

My questions are
Will we be able to find all of these things?

What will customs be like back into England? (Do they search coaches full of kids)

And we are each bringing about 100 Euros will that be enough?

Please dont bother posting if your going to be a dick, unless its a really funny post.

Batons and brass knucks are highly illegal here in Belgium.

I'd advise you to stock up on booze, and maybe some ether, which is available in any pharmacy ... though that mightn't be a good idea at your age.

Really? I thought Belgium was kinda layed back. I guess not.

Well i'm hoping to get brass knuckles off market stalls in france because last time i went to france there were loads of knives being sold to kids.

What is ether? Sorry if thats a dumb question.

Laid back? No no, We've got plenty of laws to break, but our legal system is too clogged up to persecute and punish people these days

And the ether was just a joke really, you stay away from that stuff!

Thank you and definetly none of that for me.

I'm going on wednesday so can anyone answer my question about getting searched?

And before i think i said we were going from Belgium back to England, but now i think we are going back through france. Would a coach get searched on a ferry?

I doubt they would search a bunch of schoolkids under supervision from teachers on those ferries.

I went on a battlefields trip in '04, they did a random search of our bus, checked the luggage hold (but didn't open any bags) and asked to see all 40 passports. This was on the way down, in Dover before we even left the country. I think customs do a certain amount of random searches, because they have to to meet central government targets. Still, the chance of your bus being searched is minimal, and your bags being searched even less likely. You will probably be more likely found out by teachers than customs. When I went I was 16, but i looked much younger (and had no ID), but still didn't have any problem buying alcohol. I remember one shop keeper in Ypres just smiled and said " I won't tell your teacher" when we bought 3 bottles of chocolaty stuff.

I still wouldn't recommend bringing back batons, they may be difficult to hide, and if found people might take it a bit more seriously than other stuff.

But anyway, the battlefields stuff is more interesting than it sounds, esp. if you go to places like the Menin Gate and Thiepval.

Thanks, I didn't think we'd get searched anyway but people are getting wise to kids bringing back illegal stuff when they go on school trips.

I dont think we'll find a baton but i'm still hoping for some brass knuckles.

I go tomorrow,yay!
