lol, same thing happened to me (sorta). i was really into this one girl for a while. well we have the same birthday, and one day my birthday came up in some conversation and she was like, hey thats my birthday too, and all my dumbass said was "I know". well now she thinks im some sort of stalker or some shit and that im obsessed with her. i still feel attraction twoard her sometimes, but you just eventually learn to say "you know what, fuck it, forget about her"

If you love her and you can get really jealous and you have no way of being with her, I suggest you get over her before you really get your feelings hurt. And to do that just completely cut your connections with her completely and then time will do its work.

Pretty much. The longer you sit and think the less chance you have of getting anywhere, and it nullifies at some point. You've got nothing to lose by making a move of any sort, small as it is, to show your intentions. I was you, about 2 years ago, I forced myself to just go for it, make a move if I wanted to. Took a while and it's not easy, but it's become no big deal and not a life-ruiner. I'm not saying to go ask her to marry you, but maybe a drink/coffee/etc. that can be either friendly or show your interest (in a new girl) could be a nice idea.

I used to get lonely a lot. I'm fine now, since I've given up on any hope of love, but that's a different story.

Being lonely, I developed a lot of crushes. That heavy, yet hollow feeling in your chest, I know it all too well. If you're strong enough, like I am, this is what you do. Find every little fault about them, and think about it. Even if it isn't true, it's a reason to feel pain. Hell, when you masturbate, think about someone else fucking her (I find this erotic...myself, but it helps too.). Don't let that hollow feeling inside dangle in the air, suppress it and force it to be worse. The last 'crush' I had, I immediately did this. I didn't feel it again. I think my mind has gotten use to the fact that I do this. That's what it is, all mental. Mind over matter, blah blah blah. Trust me on this. It works. After doing this, you'll get tired of her, and you'll even have better control over your emotions.

Letting a girl go is tough, but if you can do it once it gets easier. Try to find something to keep your mind off of her (hang with other friends, play sports, work). Just keep pushing the thought of her out of your mind. The reason you feel for her the way you do is because you allowed yourself to feel that way. You created the monster, and only you can destroy it. For a full week dont think about her, talk to her, or do anything that would remind of her. You will soon realize your letting go, and you wont care. Not caring will feel very good, you will feel like a new person. Its natural to always feel a little something for her in the deepest chambers of your loins, but thats ok, as long as it isnt an obsession. I know EXACTLY how you feel my friend, and i give you the advice that worked for me.
