So my girlfriend is on the Depo shot and ever since shes gotten it her sex drive has fucking plummeted. We used to have sex around 4 or 5 times a day. Now its around twice a week. Is there ANYTHING i can do about this?

make her switch to the pill? the same thing happened to my friend's girlfriend and he just doesn't know what to do with himself. and its gotten progressively worse over the past few months, hes lucky if he gets ass twice a MONTH.

and i've heard the depo shot makes them gain weight like crazy, but how safe is the pill?my wife's mother had a stroke about 6 years ago,the doctors say it was because of the pill,why dont you tell her to not use anything and you will be the one to worry about birth control...and actually do it not just say it lol, wear a rubber...you get used to them and this way you get more sex and dont have to worry about any health problems for your girl

I've found I've gained some weight recently, but then I've been on the depot shot for almost two years now, so I cant really blame the injection for that.

Are there underlying issues?
Maybe she just plain doesent like how she looks or something. Maybe she doesent like how you look ?

That shot is crazy. Ive met more than two people who got pregnant while on the shot. And the weight gain can be really bad. Stick with the neuva ring.

My last girl had that. I would put it in and it was a great way to start foreplay.

I'm only getting the shot till they get tired of me asking to have my ovaries removed every three months.

It's certainly more reliable than any other form, there's no forgetting a pill or the shot becoming unreliable if you are sick after taking a pill.
But it fucks with your hormones alot. She should really be talking to the nurse who gives her the jab if she's got concerns about it.

You should get her off Depo, it'll really fuck her up.

She'll get premature osteoporosis (like the bones of a 70 year old when shes only 19), and it might be linked to breast cancer. It's quite possibly the most dangerous form of chemical birth control.

Plus she'll get fat and weepy, and that might be annoying for you.
