Baked bananas are the shit. I just had a barbeque and I roasted a bunch of nice yellow ones in the smouldering ashes.

Who else here likes baked bananas? A lot of people I know think they're disgusting. And what would you recommend eating them with?

Baked bananas are good as hell!

I think they might just toast and/or burn. Fresh bananas caramelize and go nice and mushy inside. Banana chips are good though.

Baked apples stuffed with nuts and cinnamon and dried fruit rock baked banana's shit.

It's been way too long since I've had one. We'd usually cut a wedge lengthwise out of the curved side (like making a boat out of it), fill it with miniature marshmallows and chocolate chips, wrap it in foil and throw it on the grill. I've always known them as "banana boats".

Baked Banana (hot) rolled in coconut and crushed peanut served with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Battered Banana (while still hot) sprinkled with cinnamon, a Big scoop of Ice Cream and a Big scoop of whipped cream
