Me and my two friends were out frog hunting yesterday we killed two frogs.

Here are the results:
1 frog killed by a staff.
1 frog killed by a smaller stick

We also used rocks but they didn't work. Rail road ties didn't work either.

What other weapons would provide a challenge but would kill the frog in one hit?

I hope you ate those and didn't kill for the hell of it.

.22 is fun, pellet gun if your parents dont trust you with that.

I have a little net I bought at Walmart for $2 and a bb gun, shoot them in the hips to paralyze them, they like kick only one leg and swim all weird.

Best thing ever though was the first time I ever put fire crackers in one, after shoving it in so far it must have torn something inside of it, it like tried to puke/spit it up in a race against time/the burning wick. Needless to say it lost.

Yeah, .22 are fun to hunt frogs with. You could also use a knife strapped on to a long stick. Something like a spear.

well, typically you would use something called a "frog gig", around here in WV its just called going giggin or going frog giggin.
Its basically like a fish spear, a long spear like rod, with two or three tines on the end, with barbs. Then, when you see the frog, just spear it and pull your catch in, then have a creel or bag handy to keep it.

But seriously, whats the point of just going and killing frogs if you arent going to eat them? Frog legs are a delicacy as well as an easily obtainable food if you are in a urgent situation

Frog gigging is the best way to do it, I started a thread by that very name not too long ago. It might still be around. Anyways, if you don't have a gig, improvise, attach a knife to a stick. Using .22's is easy but noisy (not good for sneaking around farms) and not as much of a challenge.

Shotgun works well! Not much left to eat though but shuts them up for a while so you can go back to sleeping your hang over off.
Must be the sound the gun makes.
