hey guys it was on the news today that google stores so much shit on what you search for thats its possibly an invasion of privacy, say for instance that swim is registered to his isp and searches fat bitches eating shit, then one day swim is a mayor or something google can own him....

anyway what you think? any sites that swim can use instead?

if you have a gmail account you notice this even more how if your login and do a search on google your inbox will be full of shit by the next day. about stuff you searched using google. I use there mail service for one thing, Junk email

Thats called giving out your email address to skectchy sites. Google doesnt do that.

Google doesn't give out any of the info about they have stored about you. Not to long ago they went to court after refusing to hand over search information to the government, and won.

Yes google knows more about you then probably anyone else, but they will be the only ones to ever know.

I thought quicktime was an annoyance (qqtask.exe), but google has become way more annoying and invasive, IMHO.

The Google toolbar isn't really crapware - it's optional although its bundled with several apps. I went and downloaded it because it's damn useful.

However, the new version comes with a nasty little "helper" background program which constantly checks for updates and sends back to Google what browser you have...
