Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
Me and my girlfriend work a lot so we spend most of our days off together and occasionally she will go out with her girlfriends and ill go with my guy friends. But for her next day off she has informed me she is going out with a guy from her work. He has told her he likes her before and iv seen him hitting on her. so it just seems a little weird to me and im worried about it. Am i over reacting and is it perfectly normal for her to hang out with this guy or is it something to be worried about. Sorry if my post is stupid but this has been bothering me. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
Talk to her. It all depends on your relationship. Do you trust her enough to not fuck around? If you don't, then calmy share your fears with her.
Comunication is the key in all relationships.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
eh, don't stress.
i do my best to suppress my jealousy. the last thing i want to do is become "that guy," who always is telling his girl what to do and just overall being a jerk.
luckily, i got someone who wouldn't put up with that crap.
its better to be a little whipped than to be a jerk.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
my ex girlfriend got jealous when i was gonna hang out with one of my female friends...i asked her first, we talked about it, she said it was fine, etc.....then i get a message she meant to send to her friend about how she was jealous that i was hanging out with another girl...even though the only reason i was hanging out with this girl is because my girlfriend couldn't hang out with me....
so, moral of the story is that people get jealous and its normal. I get jealous when a guy is with or is hanging out with a girl i like...its normal....
however, ACTING on jealousy is NOT normal. For example if I got jealous of a guy kuz he's with a girl I want to be with, and because of it I beat the shit out of him, that would be fairly unreasonable.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
It's only unreasonable depending on the situation. If your girl's talking to some guy who expresses how attractive she is and that's that then it would be unreasonable to flip out.
If she comes home at 2am from her x boyfriends house wiping her lips then I'd bury the bitch in the garden.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
Jealousy is a natural emotion. Its in damn near every human's DNA. Just act like it doesn't bother you, even if it does. Then if there's more hints that she may have a thing for him, talk to her about it, but don't let it get so deep as to where you may suspect that she's cheating.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
Thanks for the responses. I didn't make a big deal about it because i dont want to be an ass hole but i mean its just sort of seemed like a date to me and it was bugging me. And its not that i dont like when she hangs around guys that are just friends but its when she hangs around a guy she just met that want her. So i guess i should just let it go and see what happens. Well thanks for reassuring me that its most likely nothing.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
I would be jealous, probably dement myself with stress the whole time she was with him, but acting on it would just hint at a lack of trust which is a bad idea.

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
Dude, you have every right to be jealous. After all, it's part of being human. Don't despise yourself for it. Even the most trusting people can get unsure at times.
Normally, I'd just preach that you should trust her word. Although, if you are still concerned, talk with her about it. As the old saying goes, it's always better to hear it from the horses mouth. Then again, it could be nothing. I know taken guys, myself inclusive on occasion, who will flirt with girls just for shits and giggles, with nothing serious behind it.
When it comes to relationships, it's very rare you can take things at face value.

It is indeed stupid. She has absolutely no damn right to hang out with that asshole who is known to like her. I think you should seriously talk to her about this stuff before you get bigger problems. You are her boyfriend not that prick why is she interested in that faggot anyway?

Re: Do you think its unreasonable to be jealous?
Thanks for the help but im pretty sure i was right to worry. my girlfriend usually really likes to go out on our anniversary monthly and make it a sort of celebration. And im pretty much sure its over now because i just realized the day she is hanging out with him is our anniversary. So its a strange thing to do it seems but im pretty sure im positive now i was right to worry.
