Someone I sit near in a summer course I am taking at a local community college may or may not like me. My suspicion stems from the trend in her dress the last few weeks. Since I have started talking to her in and after class, she has changed the way she dresses, like, from jeans, a sweatshirt, and baseball cap to earrings, low cut shirt, and ripped jeans (which nearly push me into berserker mode, but that's another issue). In addition to the fact that there is eye contact, smiles, etc. and she will often turn around to hear what I have to say, and laugh if it's funny. These are all positive signs to me. Up until this point, I thought I would have no problem asking her if she's busy the following weekend, which is exactly what I planned to do after we walked out together after a 'group test' tomorrow night( it's an introductory level course, don't hate).

Since I found came across her on facebook, and realized that she was dating someone, I've shifted gears. Now I don't plan on asking her out, but I'm not about to stop pursuing it in the long run. It's strange, with girls you have never met, or people you have no chance of getting with, it's exponentially easier to be more comfortable and confident in your self. I'm certain it will still be fun to talk and joke around with her, maybe an occasional flirty smile or remark.

I'm at crossroads. With the "I don't care/I don't care because you're taken" mentality, it's easier to talk to her. And I'm not all too disappointed or even surprised that she's seeing someone (pretty steadily I think).

Like I said, I plan on talking to her and joking around anyway. But I was pretty convinced that she liked me. Then again, maybe it's all in my head.

No, I am not the dude on the left. She told me she went to a school far west of where I was last semester, and I've only seen her at the community college. Interestingly enough, she said that she had a "bad roomate experience," and was only at school for one semester, however, she will be transferring to somewhere closer to the local C.C. for next September. More or less a good reason to start a more personal conversation, I suppose.

Meh, just because a person's committed to one relationship doesn't prevent them from experience certain feelings for others.

I'd still talk to her and flirt, when she and her boyfriend fall out you'll be her first option to go for comfort, and if you really have no romantic interest in here try keeping it that way and it won't matter that she's using you. :)
