friends with benefits
so idk if anyone remembers i had a topic a while back asking about what you guys think i should do about this girl who i like and from what i hear she likes me. it turns out we started talking alot more and got onto a conversation about this and she ended up saying we (as in our group of friends i guess) should stay single and just be friends with benefits.
now i was wondering do girls really like that instead of a relationship, or was she just saying that to see how i would respond. also isnt the friends with benefits end up just causing more confusion and problems then going out would?

Re: friends with benefits
Most girls want an exclusive relationship (well, the highschool girls in my area do anyhow).

Re: friends with benefits
Don't fucking do it. That type of relationships just cause you emotional and psichological trouble. I you aren't a couple then she'll feel free to dump you anytime and get on with another asshole.

Re: friends with benefits
Friends with benefits? What the fuck?
I suggest you look for someone who wants a proper relationship, not making up stupid excuses not to make a definite answer.

Re: friends with benefits
If you date her, free sex until you break up.
If you're friends with benefits, free sex until she finds someone she wants a relationship with. And then free sex again when she breaks up with him and feels bad. And then free sex whenever she's single and lonely, or her current relationship is getting distant for however many years until she gets married, you do something to screw it up, or you go your seperate ways.

Re: friends with benefits
Most girls who aren't whores like an exclusive relationship. I'm a guy, and I'm not into the whole "friends with benefits" thing. It just seems a little fucked up.

You didn't change her mind. You made her ashamed, and she covered. Girls aren't any more conservative then we are when it comes to sex. But I'm pretty sure you blew your chance at the friends with benefits bit.
You can still hope that you were right about it being a test, and try for a relationship. But I think she was just being honest about her desires. She was feeling you out sexually, and you gave off the vibe that you weren't interested. Chances are, she'll move on to someone else who has more balls then you do.

Re: friends with benefits
well a friend of mine who talks to her alot
(about me from what ive just learned) says he told her im more in to that then going out with someone and she argued with him that that wasnt what she likes. so thats why im wonderin if it was a test thing and now if were both on the same page that should just help my chances

Re: friends with benefits
I had that sort of relationship with this girl i had a bit of history with. We would just have a bit of fun when i came home for the weekends and stuff.
It was good fun, it can definatly be a better way of doing things because relationships take time and energy to make work.
You have to make sure you don't become emotionally attached.
Since we had a bit of history it ended up just going into this massive relationship, and have found love...
I warn you though, i dont think you could ever really go back to being friends with no sex at all.

Re: friends with benefits
Thats funny, i thought it was mostly the guys who want a rel like this...
It's all well and good when its just for fun (as in you dont have ANY feelings for each other)... but if there's something between you this could cause some MAJOR problems!!!
