First time I watched the movie I had to pause it and leave the room in tears at the "Jam the radar!" part. It still gets a good laugh outta me, no matter how many times I've seen it.
I read that a sequel was currently in the making by Brooks, so it oughta be good if it does actually come out.
And I do agree, just about anything Mel Brooks has done is fucking comedy gold.

The closest thing I've ever found would probably be the Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker trio (if you live under a rock, they wrote The Naked Gun movies), although they rely more on jokes that make no sense.
