If you plan on having sex I'd say no for legal reasons but I know a couple who started dating at 16 and 22 as well and they are the BEST couple. they're not perfect but they are kindred spirits and have a good life (not really the healthiest lifestyle) together and with a group of friends that they share. yep yep. My girl was 16 and I was 18 when we met. Not bad of an age difference at all. But she was still running with her high school crowd, while I had graduated and moved out, supporting myself. Luckily for me, she hates drama as much as I do, so it never really was that bad. But do expect drama.

And at 19 I still felt weird dropping my girl off and picking her up from school. Mostly cause im in the army, so regardless of the state the girl is supposed to be 18. If that rule wouldnt have been there, I dont think i would have cared at all.
