-some of the morals they teach in christianity are a plus but most christians dont abide by them by heart so obviously that should strike u out as odd,,,even though that has nothin to deal with makin u believe in the religion it self
and most of them will say,,u just have to have faith...but well faith in the unseen isnt quite the most intelligent thing to do,what it comes down to is what makes you happy i geuss

He's totally right. You could sit someone down, and talk to them for hours about RELIGION (man i hate that word), and the bible, and why God exists. But in the end, all it depends on is if you have the faith.
So save someone a lot of time, and decide for yourself if you have the faith to believe in something you can't percieve with any of your bodily senses.

The main problem is whether not that which we perceive with all our senses is actually god or not.

You can't prove god doesn't exist because you can't truly prove a negative. I can't prove that lawn gnomes don't rape pink flamingos because to do so I would have to be everywhere at all times, which is impossible. What I can do though is make a logical conclusion based on the evidence for the claim. The idea of lawn gnomes raping pink flamingos is so improbable that I choose to live my life on the basis that it doesn't happen. The same is true for the existence of a God. The idea of a Theistic God is so illogical that I choose to live my life on the assumption that one isn't there.
