I'm sure this has been done before but I thought it would be interesting to see what sort of hardware people have in their main computer. I'm sure there's going to be a mix of Core 2 Duos and PIIIs here...

Reidy, I had a Q-Tec PSU running in a P4 box (yeah, I too was strapped for cash) and it didn't explode despite multiple short circuits and overloading. Not bad for a cheapshit PSU I'd say.

I have several other machines in various states too. Well, it's actually nearer 15...I really need to clear out.

Web/file server is a HP Kayak XU800:
Dual 733mhz PIII
512mb of evil expensive RDRAM
20gb SCSI disk.
Some AGP Pro graphics card so crappy it doesn't need a heatsink. But it doesn't matter as I run it headless.
