A happy ending? Or another sick test?
Hey, I'm back, but I pop in and out so much it's nothing really new I guess. Anyway, for those that know me, you know how emotional and sesitive I get when it comes to life, love, and finding it all. You also know about those little stupid crushes I talk about I thought were "true love", and how "this one if different" and all that crap, but I'd like to think I've grown up abit scince then. Awhile ago I quit totse, tried to come to terms with life, school, and everything, and tried my best to stop chasing little crushes around (Though failed at it once or twice).
However, recently I find love knocking at my door again. Can I say again? No, this girl is something different. It's not just "love"... I really feel for this girl in a way that just makes everything elce I've done null void, and plain stupid. We're exactly alike, yet exact opposites. Like mirror images, or wings on a plane. We talked, and at first I didn't think much of it, yet more and more pieces started falling into place. I mean, it came on so suddenly! So suddenly was everyone who ever told me "You'll find the person right for you." absolutely correct. SHe just plopped on my lap, materialized from nowhere. I could go on and on how absolutely perfect she is, not the "perfect girl" by anyone's standards, but that's just why she's perfect! She's perfect for me, and only me. Custom built, you could say. I didn't love her yet, but I could just see endless love and happiness down a road with her in it. She's so easy to talk to, the phone conversations just seem so... ordinary. We met a week ago, and talk like old pals. At first I was happy, overjoyed actually!
Then things went downhill. Only two days ago she took a trip to see some family, the first time scince I started talking to her that we've been out of contact. I call, leave messages every day, say sweet things and all that. She said she wouldn't be online and probably wouldn't be able to answer her phone and whatnot, so all that was ok. Then today she returned. I tried to talk to her, yet found the conversation forced and awkward. She said she wasn't one who objected to obsession, rather enjoyed it to and extent. I figure it was just an uninspired conversation, and that everyone has them, but I'd been looking forward to speaking for her for two days! That kind of anit-climax scared me... I mean... I SHOULD be head over heels and crazy for this girl, I love her, but it's just that kind of flustered lovesickness that makes this crush special, and thus like all the other insignificant crushes I've had, and thus not special!
I mean, I KNOW I'm overreacting, but that's not the point. Is the overreacting a good thing, or a bad thing?
(Jeez, even making this THREAD makes me sound like every other lovesick guy in the universe, and that's the way this relationship ISN'T supposed to go... goddamnit.)

I think you have a love addiction.
If you want something badly enough, you'll find it. Even if it's not really there.

Re: A happy ending? Or another sick test?
Yea, but this feels so much different. I mean, all my other little crushes started the same way, and in comparison to those this one just feels so different and so right!
Excluding the fact that this girl actually seems interested in what I have to say and was the one who suggested dating in the first place...
[Edit]
Screw it! Screw all the worrying if this relationship is off to a good start or not, it IS off to a good start! I love this chick and she loves me too. We're perfect for eachother, and I won't let me screw things up when they really matter. The fist reply may have been a joke, but you're absolutely correct, it's time for me to stop being a fucking pussy.
So scratch that first long ass post. Guess what totse, Ipods gonna have himself a girlfriend pretty soon! DETAILS AT 11!

Re: A happy ending? Or another sick test?
You're going to fuck it up if you keep thinking like that.
I dont know you at all, and it's already obvious that you get attached way too quickly. A professional would probably advise you to stay away from women completely for a while, and find out who you are on your own.
Thats not what you want to hear though. But for the sake of every other heartbreak you've had. Take it slow. Theres no way you can ever build a relationship off of obsession. It doesn't happen. Trust me, I used to be like you. You have to start out just casually dating. And even if she likes you, you're going to turn her off by going all in on the first date.

I did hold off on women for quite abit, and you're right, I'm gonna take this slow and work things out. The point is I ALMOST reverted to what I usually do because it's been the only way I've known how to handle these things. This one however, I won't screw up. Everyone has to start off again somewhere right?

"Most of the cats that you meet on the street speak of true love
Most of the time they're sitting and crying at home" - Grateful Dead
Find a hobby, something that you are passionate about. Love is like a drug. And the comedown sucks.

Boss Tycoon is right.
The comedown is a motherfucker of a test of strength.
I'm going through it now and believe me the pain is unbearable at times.

Re: A happy ending? Or another sick test?
you drive them all away thats your problem:
read your post again, your building this girl up to be better than life. that right there is the start of your failure.
now read this again
"She said she wouldn't be online and probably wouldn't be able to answer her phone"
Ok lets look at this. Unless her parents live in a cave, she would have the internet. And unless they live in a cave in the boonies, her cell would work. And unless her parents are god damn commies living off the grid while they plot their next move, they would have a home phone.
She told you that because she didnt want to talk to you. Its that simple. And she practically told you to your face that your obsessed and its driving her away.
You met a week ago. And you think its appropriate to call her when shes at her parents, leaving sweet messages and clogging her voice mail?
Your smothering her, just like you smothered every other on. You will never have sex with this woman, because youve already wierded her out to the point where she talks about you behind your back. Thats right, your the "creepy guy" she tells her best friend about.
Fuck man, look at your situation from someone elses point of view. Detach yourself from life, and look you from the outside. Your fucking up, and will destroy any chance at future relationships.

He rushes into relationships too quickly, and always says "this one will be the one". Now he's doing it again.
he met a chick a week ago, is obsessed, won't stop calling her, and is wondering why she didn't seem like she was head over heels with him i their last conversation. He also believes that she loves him as much as he "loves" her.

Re: A happy ending? Or another sick test?
You need to find something to put all this energy into. A hobby as some have mentioned.
You need to chill out with women, if a girl says "you are cute" you don't want your next words to be "OMG I love you too!!". It is this that is fucking everything up.
If you are full on at the very beginnings of a relationship the girl with feel overwhelmed and most likely back off. And if you continue to be so intense she will completely be put off.
