Me and my girlfriends 17month anniv. was yesturday, and I didn't even get to talk to her. Now She is almost 18 and "grounded" Her cell phone that her aunts got her goes write to the voice mail, and the phone I got her goes right to the voice mail. I haven't talked to her for 3 or 4 days, But she is "grounded" like every week. During the week, and then on the weekends she isn't grounded. Or atleast it seems...


So anyone like to tell me what the fuck is going on?

my parents get assy about me going out during the week, most of the time they don't let me. it's rpetty common, they prolly just want her to do more work for school

Her aunts don't really care for me. Her uncle is cool with me, and he* isn't really around during the week so the aunt has full reign.. lol

This shit makes me mad.. They ground her around the 12th every month. which is our anniv.

We are trying to get her aunts trust. A few months ago, we told them we've had sex, hoping that would bring things more out in the open. Well the hated me for a month and then they were over it.

So I'm not sure what to expect. We were planning on moving in together in september when she turns 18. But Alot of people on here say thats too early blah blah blah...

It's not too early at all. Isn’t it better to figure out whether or not it's going to work now? Rather than dick around for two years then realise you aren't right for each other.

It's very different when you live with someone, just be prepared.
I think moving in together will be a true test of your love.

Thanks... We've been talkin about moving in together for a while now. But atleast where i live, You can't rent an apartment or buy a house until like 21. Becuz some stupid reason. And I wouldn't mind paying her uncle rent becuz he is kool

if you think you're ready to move in together at 18, then do it!
don't tell her that her being grounded is "pissing you off" because she'll just fell bad and like you're attacking her as it seems she can't really change the fact that she's getting grounded.

Yea this is the same girl. I called yesturday and got her little cousin. She told me nichole was grounded for coping an aditude with her aunts or some shit...

Recently, my girlfriend has always had to cancel our plans at the last moment (like the night before). A few nights ago when she told by via text, I replied saying it was beginning to get me irritated. She has legitimate reasons most of the time, it just annoys me.

Simply, let her know how you feel. If you're still uneasy, try going to her place one time when she's grounded, and ask to see her. If she is legitimately grounded, apologize, and say you didn't remember and take the blame. No harm, no foul. If it turns out she isn't grounded... Well, then you can worry.

She is actually grounded...

It just pisses me off, And we only get to see each other like once or twice a month, maybe 3 times if i'm lucky. and she lives 3 blocks away.
