So youve read a lot of high cultural books, good for you, always good to know someone else on here has the potential for a decent conversation at times, although personally i believe everyone is capable of that, REGARDLESS of their background, history or readings in life.
As for seeing the greatest places, merely a matter of personal opinion. What you may class as great to others may be a load of rubble or completely boring. So bringing in the idea of seeing great things in this world is kind of pointless.
As for the language thing, i speak English fluently and know enough German, French and Russian to get by if i ever need to use it.
However, what i dont agree with is you supposing the average American is an unenglithened dolt. I know many average Ameriacans, and i find them to be just as intelligent and enlightened as other people in this world.
Anyway, back to the poster, seriously you asked for advice and we gave it to you, you apparently choose to ignore it. So this is the last piece of advice i will give you;
Do what you feel happy with doing. Ignore everyone elses bloody opinions of you or this girl, and just do what you think is right, so long as it doesnt go too far of course.
