I'm an active poster and I have spoken to TheAtomiser. Kai is missing-in-action (or it seems like it), TheAtomiser has said that he rarely posts, and Xip is away at boot camp. I really love this forum and video games are one of my biggest hobbies.

I'd like to be considered for the spot, and TheAtomiser said that if necessary, he can be removed.

It would also be nice to see if we could reach Kai in any way, because he seems distant at best.

I think most of us would agree that he is unfit to moderate any additional forums given his poor decisions in the past.

I'm sure Kai will have some comments as well, I just spoke to him on IRC.

I talked to Kai about all the probs and think Toraton really screwed up. But considering his passion and experience in gaming. I can't see him making such a horrid mistake with GPP. I think he'll make a great addition.

He's called Kai and sambob "retards" and said that Jeff Hunter "makes shitty decisions." He has shown on several occasions how little he cares about the BBS, and I am surprised that he still moderates these boards today.

Not sure if I am permitted to make such a statement. How about a last chance to prove himself with this forum and if he screws up. Remove all moderator privileges.

On top of all of this, I have been moderating T&T for a long time and doing a fine job at it. I never wanted to mod E*NIX and I was only there as a favor to someone else. The first chance I got, I ditched.

It's not about bashing, it's moreso concern how well you will do at modding. So try not to get defensive. I can see where they are coming from. You have made some big mistakes and some might say you were just new to being a mod and gun-ho. I can only recall a few who have blundered. And none quite as bad as you. Not even chibimiko. I think you just have to address their concerns at least!

As far as Kai is concerned, give up. He has lost way too much interest to even care.

I've been moderating GPP completely on my fucking own in a quite high trafic forum, when I'm a n00b mod, for several weeks now.
And Kai hasnt shown his face at all.

Now, when someone else would love to take on GPP and offers assistance, he comes back and acts like he never fucked off and left his forum for all those months.

I do like what I know of Kai, but this is just petty and selfish.

Well like I've said, if the need arises, I'll be more than happy to help out...I love games too much, I've also wrote guides on WoW Private servers and anything and everything to do with hacking the PSP, so at the risk of looking vain, I'd like to say I know my stuff.

I refuse to give myself a geeky title of gamer and Xip torments me by calling me that. But in all reality I do have more knowledge than most. (Not all, just the average.) But I have no desire to mod GPP, and the one thing I do know is that if I wanted, I could do so.

I would close it, personally. The forum isn't for buying and selling.

I think it might be different if the thread was, "I have a game to trade. I'll mail you some game in trade for Garry's Mod." Or something of that nature.

As it is, he's pretty much begging for money.

jebuonag has always hated me and would go out of his way to prevent anything I might remotely enjoy.

For what it's worth, I support toraton both as a mod and someone I'd now consider a friend. I'm not sure why there seems to be so much opposition, but I can't think that he would endevour to do anything but the right thing.

Yep, I am indeed "running around australia", however I should point out that I am now in sydney, probably here for a while, and now have free access to a computer. Though I can't say I'll always be around to moderate, at least now if I see something that needs cleaning up and there's no one else to do it, I can now do something about it.

I try to avoid Gearheads, only recently checking out a couple threads, but Video Games have always been a main hobby and a quiet passion for me for-fucking-ever. Shame games cost too much in australia.
