Well now that highschool is over, im going to have to move out because my mom is going to make me pay rent. And hell id rather pay for living somewhere else then at home, so when my girl heard of this she jumped the gun and now wants to share a room with me in an apartment with a few other people..I know some of you here have tried/succeded in this. Aside from working a min wage job and eating mostly ramen and pudding snacks what else would suck? And what are some benefits of this situation? I know there will be lots of sex involved which is a very good things but I cant let it blind me from the disatvantages.

Well, if it's just you and your girl, you have to make enough money to pay the rent, which might be hard on min. wage. However, if you room with a few other people, you have to trust them to not fink out.

You'll also have to share a bathroom with other people. It's different than living at home.

im just throwing this out there.. but uhh.. what about.. i know this is going to sound stupid.. but what about college?!?!

I don't understand why people work for minimum wage...

It just doesnt make sense to me. As it is, with no training or education, I work as a bartender making 15-20/ hour.

On the side, I was working at ups for 10 bucks an hour.

I was also making 10 bucks at another hotel doing banquets, but that job sucked.

Seriously though...if you're willing to put in the work and look around, theres no reason why anyone should be making less then 10 an hour.

exactly.. work at a car wash or something.. they make atleast 12 an hour including tips
