 I've realized I hate my friends
They are boring, vapid, and uninspiring. They're my friends from highschool, and it's only been a year, but I can already see how far the divide between us has become. Some of my friends are still fun to hang out with, but the whole scene has become drab and flavorless. "What are we gonna do tonight? Drink in John's basement! John's sick tonight. Oh, then in Stevie's!" Hell, it's almost taking the fun out of drinking. At this point, I'm gonna have to develop an addiction to have a reason to drink. But I digress. I wish there were advice I could ask for, but there's none y'all could give. So I guess... commiseration would do. Anyone find themselves in a similar situation this time of year?

Yeah. Lots of people grow away from their old school friends. It's normal. Get out of the basement and find some more people. I did. :) |
