I fucked things up... like always
Recently me and this chick had been getting on great, kinda flirting, and she wanted me to take her to a few parties. So I asked her what I could say just so I didn't sound cheeky and she said "tell your mates that i'm your girlfriend". So we had a bit of a laugh about that until yesterday I suggested that maybe we should actually go out.
But she said "I'd be up for that, but i'm already kinda seeing something".
And I think at that point a part of my heart died as I have wanted to be with this chick since I first met her almost 2 years ago. Shes such a nice girl.
And then I didn't know what to do... so I just stopped talking to her. I didnt know what to say, it felt awkward, and I was pretty upset and pissed off, so it seemed right.
Now she probably thinks im a douche. And she'd be right.
Im such a cunt.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
That's happened to me too... don't pursue women who already have a boyfriend, it's not worth it. You'll always be waiting for them to break up. Stay friends with her if she's nice, just realise that she isn't dating material (unless she breaks up with the guy, a good reason to stay friends)

I didn't even know she was "kinda seeing someone" until I suggested that we do actually go out.
Maybe shes lying about that and was just looking for a nice way to say no.

That's a possibility; if it's bugging you a lot then find out, otherwise just leave it and continue to be friends, you seem to get on well with her.

But... it'll be awkward, and I dont know what to say, and im shit in these kinda situations.
If she starts talking to me by ringing me up or coming round my house then thats cool, but Im not going to start the conversation.
That'll teach her for seeing someone who isn't me :p
Edit - speak of the devil...
Edit 2 - fucking hell. Could I have handled that situation any worse?
She started speaking, asked if I had any exams today, so I said "Yea, i've got an exam at 1, which means I better go get ready, bye" and then closed MSN.
This is why i'm such a cunt who fails at keeping/making friends.
Being a teenager sucks :(

Re: I fucked things up... like always
I'm gonna give you some advice, despite the fact I hate your racial attitudes.. I'm gonna rise above it and hope you that one day, you see past all the pseudo-intellectual bullshit you've been fed on.
You didn't fuck it up, in fact you should give yourself more credit. You made a move, which is far better than sitting there and ending up just becoming friends with her, always wanting to have more but never having the guts to ask.
I read into it that she was kind of using you to go to parties (I don't know if this is the case), but there are girls who'd do that to a guy, then end up getting off with one of his best friends at the party.
If you want her as a friend, make a small effort next time she's on msn, I wouldn't go out of your way - just let her know youre both still cool.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
I don't think you've fucked up, this situation is salvageable, and some might say you've kinda done everything right... I mean man... she knows you're kinda interested now, even if you were "joking"?
Just chill out, keep talking to her, but don't brush all this under the carpet and "just try and be friends", you don't need to stalk her and creep her out, but remain as an "interest" in her life - get to know her better, see what she's feeling etc.
I thought it sounded weird when I read "she wanted me to take her to parties", but then tbh... she may actully want to hang out with you :) I don't see why it's such a big deal that she may/may not be seeing someone - if she's interested then things will fall into place, as you said it can "suck" to be a teenager, and chances are their relationship might fizzle out if you're at the back of her mind.
Is she definitely more than a friendship interest man? If so, don't get yourself down about things, or make yourself think you've fucked things up totally, just be yourself (and remember NEVER to follow that guy's advice in the "I can get you laid/happy/successful etc" thread :p) and see where it takes ya.
Good luck.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
She's still trying to be nice to me even though I've been a total cunt to her today/last night.
I don't think she is using me to go to parties, after the exams we promised to meet up and stuff, go ice skating together and go to the cinema, and she really isn't the kind of girl who would use someone just to go to parties, especially as she is kinda shy around people she doesn't know.
I got no idea what to do, I feel like a total cunt.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
Well, she should've told you earlier that she was seeing someone. You didn't know so it came as a bit of a shock I guess. It's okay, you're not the cunt here.
Maybe she just likes hanging out with you? Perhaps if she is single again you guys could start dating? Talk to her about this.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
You're just feeling like you have to apologize because you were mad at her. You don't have to say sorry, maybe if you do she'll actually believe you had a reason to say it.
Maybe you should let things cool off a bit. Wait for her to call/message/whatever you.

She already has :( And the first time I just said I had to go as soon as the started speaking to me (which is kinda true as I did have to get ready to go to school for my exam), and second time I just ignored her message.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
I hate to be so harsh, but stop being such a pussy and talk to her! I know that it can be really intimidating and you already feel that you need to apoligize, but ignore that, and keep talking to her. You'll be happy you did, as she's now obviously seeking YOU out.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
I'm a nigger, so I'm skilled in the ways of niggering.
If she has a boyfriend, steal the bitch. That simple..
The secret to being a pimp, is to never get serious with a bitch, never tell her shes your girlfriend, just tell her shes your best friend forever, and do a bunch of stupid cutesy shit. If she really wants you, she'll keep catching your eyes. Do shit like sit down on a couch with her, bump elbows, then feel her arms and say how smooth it feels. Keep doing shit like that, dance with her, whattever, like you really are just best friends. Do it so you spend time with her for like 5 mins, then go do some other shit, hang with your boys/hit on other bitches.
When the end of the night starts for her, just be there, and more likely then not she'll want a dick in her mouth.
Like 75% of all girls I fuck have boyfriends, but there boyfriends ain't hitting it like me.

What the hell, man? You realise you didn't do anything wrong here, right?
If anything, she lead you on and only told you she was seeing someone at the last minute. She's in the wrong man, and you have every reason to be mad at her.
Just trust yourself, dude. Your emotions were right. She's in the wrong.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
Yeah what the hell!? stop feeling so sorry for yourself and go talk to her. If she was already hanging out with you then it means she was starting to get interested. Then when she tried to level with you about a possible boyfriend, you went into crybaby temper-tantrum mode. Just keep hanging out with her like you used to and forget about the boyfriend. Shes probably only getting more turned off by the way your acting now. Just be happy around her and let her see that you can take a little competition without getting frustrated and sad.

Re: I fucked things up... like always
dude... you're in a great position! Seriously, when she told you she was 'kinda seeing someone' it seems to me she was just trying to gauge your interest in her by seeing your reaction. Whether or not she's 'kinda seeing someone' does not matter for you and it doesn't seem to matter to her.
So keep doing what you're doing, talk to her, hang out, and you're fine.

But thanks guys, like all of you, you've given some great advice and words.

I think what you are doing now is a bad reaction. She would probably like to see you take what she said without blowing up and crying. Just go see her and be cool. Hang out and be happy hearted around her.
