 Unique Gifts for your Girlfriend
Well, I was thinking of some unique gifts us considerate guys get for our girlfriends. The average jewelry gifts just don't cut it a lot of the time - they have their place in a relationship but usually the girl wants something that is truly thoughtful.
Before I have bought Moon Real Estate before, from moonshop.com . The idea being "Ill promise you the moon baby... Here's the deed for an acre of it..." That actually pushed one of my girlfriends over the edge to falling in love with me.
Another gift I've given is Diamond Dust in a vial, then put it on a necklace and gave it as a gift. The idea being: Fuck diamonds, you're wearing three times the amount of diamond in a vial around your neck... and diamond dust is a really nasty poison, too. I've given that gift about twice and gotten EXTREMELY good results from it both times.
Anyone else have really unique and thoughtful girlfriend gift ideas? Usually these gifts are for your not-so-average girl. Not the girl who wants the special purse, expensive jewelry , and super expensive diamonds. Real girls who are not shallow want a thoughtful gift - it would be nice for some of us here to exchange a couple of ideas so we can impress our girlfriends, hah hah.

Haha for christmas I got my girlfriend a pint of vodka then decorated it with markers and stuff and wrote a note on the back. Oh and I taped nitrous cartridges all over the rest of it, she said it was an awesome gift.

get her a dozen roses, and stick a fake one in there. tell her you'll love her as long as all these roses are alive, she'll think its really cute when she realizes that one of the roses are fake.
you can also promise her you'll put her name in the sky, then name a star after her.
some girls like pictures, so if you have a camera phone maybe you can take pics of all your dates or special moments and make a collage.

My girlfriend loves romance movies like Ever After, Pride and Prejudice, etc. Anything where the setting is old england, basically.
So anyway, I noticed basically every movie like that has at least one lace parasole in it. So I bought her a lace parasole! Simple enough.
She LOVES that thing! She'll go outside to read a lot and she uses that to block out any unwanted sunlight. Plus, its a classy looking accessory! :)
I think any gift where you think about what you're giving her (not just a necklace or something cliche) is great. She'll love whatever it is, as long as you put thought into it.

Hey, I like the idea of diamond dust...where the hell did you buy that from, I cant find it online.
I named a star as a gift, star sign is Leo and she is pretty small so I named the star after her in the constellation "Leo Minor" (Little lion). |

I've given a diamond once. It took me the best part of a month and trips to five jewellers' to find one to the right specifications, which were extremely precise; I needed a particular, fairly unusual cut, and I found one that was completely flawless and perfect, the purest colour possible for a diamond. It was loose, not set in anything. Everything about it was picked for relevance to her and our relationship, and things she'd told me about. A diamond isn't always a clichéd gift.
Naming a star after somebody reminds me of a line from Romeo and Juliet; "take him and cut him out in little stars, and he shall make the face of heaven so bright that all the world shall fall in love with night". 'Tis a beautiful quote. Girls, if you ever have a star named after your guy, accompany it with this. Can be adapted for the opposite sex, too!
