I was reading there that scientists all over the world have came to the conclusion that by using dark matter its possible to bend time and space and make 2 points in the universe billions of miles away meet without any time distortion.

They speculate that this is most likely how UFO's travel billions of miles rather than travelling at the speed of light which would kill any living organism.

How exactly do you manipulate dark matter when it cant even be percieved or measured?

I assume that the acceleration to near light speed in any reasonable amount of time would crush the spaceships occupants.

So we can assume it would take too long to ever reach the speed of light, than a human could last in one life time.

So would we have to bring more humans?

i never heard about dark matter and ufos. but i did see a documentary on the history channel where they got all kinds of scientists to explain how a ufo can travel faster than light without breaking any laws of physics. they talked about worm holes, but more interestingly warp bubbles.

when theres information like this out there i think its stupid whenever anyone says its impossible for aliens to be visiting earth. we are really only just begining to figure out the way the universe works.

i forget exactly what they said, but they covered all that in the documentary aswell. i think the propulsion system itself would actually cancel out all inertial forces. im not sure really, but i think if you used warp bubbles it would work that way, since youd just be creating a stationary pocket of space around you.
