I gave an infraction to legituser when he posted something that looked much like a scam in Money Money Money. He cleared things up and I reversed the infraction: he's still unable to post.

Well it says it's been reversed. Perhaps you just have to wait for a bit for it to take affect?


On a semi related topic, do you think it's a good idea to warn someone that you will give them an infraction the next time they post spam, as a warning thing? Or is that too much like abusing powers to say 'dont do this' ?

I generally do, but after an incident some months back where a user lost several hundred dollars in an eGold scam in Money Money Money, I've been more cautious with things of this nature.

I've switched to giving mostly warning. The way I do it is give the infraction, then reverse it saying in the reversal that this is just a warning.

I think it works better than posting in the thread a warning. Granted it's a little more work, but not really that much.

Just lifted it now.

Don't know why vbul didn't do it by itself, though...
