There are a number of users who simply haven't gotten their email confirmation. I don't know if something broke again or what, but it looks like there are a number of people with this problem.

There's also the issue with Google searching peoples past posts.

Many are concerned about this because their personal e-mail addresses have been posted and linked to their usernames. This provides an easy outlet for embarassment and blackmail.

Many members post about things they shouldn't be doing and they've been coming to me in a very worried manner.

I hope something can be done on their behalf.

I understand the good reason for Google having access to the posts of totse, there is quite a bit of good information; yet, there is also quite a bit of personal information.

I don't know if this will help, but I recently received an email from a member who wasn't getting any mail through from Totse when he'd changed his password (this was after Jeff's first fix). I suggested he check his junk mail folder and try a non-Hotmail account, just in case, and that I'd bring it up with Jeff; once he changed to using a Gmail account, his details came through okay. Maybe Hotmail has some kind of problem with Totse (or the other way around).

Actually... Now that you mention it I received an email yesterday. It was sent from totse's server. It looked like it was sent through the "Email this user" app (wherever that's located). I think that people are mostly having problems with getting their passwords.
