Its not the physical pain that is traumatic about an abortion, its the fact that you're killing your own baby. Ask just about any parent, any (relatively) normal parent, and they will tell you that they love their kids, and would do just about anything for them. There is a strong emotional bond there, even with an unborn child. Hell, for the woman, that child is even -part- of you, kept alive by your very own blood.
