Swift and to the point is best. Beating around the bush or telling lie after lie is annoying.

My most recent ex girlfriend (like 2 years ago...) did kinda drop the odd cliche in while breaking up with me, but she made up for it by getting right to the point, effective and quick. None of that "but maybe things can change", etc, bullshit.

My first girlfriend dumped me via text message and refused to speak to me on the phone. Plus she used every canned line I had ever heard "It's not you, it's me", "Let's just be friends", and so on. Then she started insulting me later on in the day (via text messages) and even nearly got me killed by some drug dealer for other reasons.

That one wasn't so pleasant.

Bad, because if you're the kind of person who tends to overreact, this will defintely put you over the edge.

I honestly don't know the best way to go about it...the one time I did it, I lied.

Quite honesty, I'd probably just want him to stop talking to me so we'd drift apart. That way, it'd hurt less not to mention easier to explain to everyone that it just wasn't working if they happened to ask those embarassing questions, much better than saying "he dumped me".

I'd want the girl to make me a glazed ham and when it's done say "the hams done, and so's our relationship" I wouldn't even care cuz I'd have a whole ham to eat. Then she'd fellate me one last time and I'd skeet all over her hair so she'd remember me.
