Default Has anyone else done this?

With the following scam/idea I have made over $600 in about 4 hours of work in the last month.

First you will need a prepaid debit card. Any amount works, but the higher the better. I used a $100 one I got for my birthday. So anyway after messing around a little bit with the numbers I figured out the formula for working numbers.

It is: +8 +8 +8 +8 etc until you get 0 or 1 on the end then when 0 or 1 is there you either add 18 or 19. Sometimes randomly instead of being +8 it might be +7 or instead of +18 it might be +17.

Some minor flaws:
With higher value cards such as 100 dollars it takes about 200-400 numbers before you get one.
You don't have the security code so the options are quite limited.

Websites it works at: Eastbay, Footlocker.
Post more if you find them.
Basically any website that doesn't require security codes.

The way I make money with this is walk around with Eastbay magazines and trusted individuals tell me what they want. I go home, order it to their house and when it arrives at their house they come to school and pay me. Only 1 fucker hasn't paid me but I can't really do anything about it because he is huge.

If this is old or really noobish just lock or delete plz.
This is my first totse post so be nice.

?

Are you saying you figured out the algorithm for the prepaid cards? As in you can make new CC numbers that work?

If so, pretty cool.

Yes! That is exactly what I am saying. All you need is a prepaid Visa, Master, AmEx card and then you do my formula and after trying about 20-50 numbers one will work and you just ordered free stuff. I thought totse would be like "holy shit" but instead your like... "hmmm"

Basically you get free money for less risk, cost, time and effort. And since the Secret Service (who handles money crimes) can't prosecute for a crime under $2,000 and since the transactions are mostly under $500 you are in the clear.

Here is an example of how to use the algorithm:

Original CC number: 1234-1234-1234-2000. Don't even think about the other numbers. The only ones you are messing with is the last 4. So with my formula you would add 18 to 2000 getting 2018. If that number doesn't work, you are at an 8. So add 8 because it is not 0 or 1 ending. Then you get 2026. Then 2034, 2042, 2050, 2068, 2076, 2084, 2092, 2100, 2118, 2126.

DO YOU GET IT???
try it for yourself on www.eastbay.com or www.footlocker.com

When you give a site a CC number, your IP is logged. If the company(footlocker) asks Mastercard or Visa or Amex for the money, and the CC company says "There is no money in that account", footlocker is gonna get mad.

Then they prosecute you.

But as for buying stuff under 100$, you pretty safe.

Good job, nice find.

god damn this is one hell of a first post. But I wouldn't do this constantly in one period of time(AKA: do it once a month, save it up. Its less conspicuos and you will make a damn lot of money in the long run.) Good luck not getting fucked over by the feds.

to check the balance on card numbers you make up

This way you can check if they work or not

@metalhead:
You need a security code to use that so you can't use that. Anyway, most of them will usually have $100 or whatever the amount is.

Keep trying and tell me if you guys get anything. I think I discovered something big

you still need the *3 digit security code from the back of the card, TARD

So I did this from 11 am till 9 pm. this is what I found:

once you find the sweet spot you should hit it continuously for 4-6 times so like if this is the original """0008"""", the next +8 will all work in a row so 0016,0024,0032,000040,0058. And after this the rhythm gets messed up. I have 7 visa cards; $100 on each... 6/7 didn't work. The seventh one work surprisingly easily I just kept hitting the right numbers. I also have several $50 master cards, I will try them tomorrow, also tomorrow I will actually order something cheap and pay the 1-day shipping to see if it arrives at one of me drop locations.

I said that at the 35-60 number range it kinda gets messed up. It can be +17, +18, +19 or +7 or +9. I just got the hang of it. You are doing Eastbay or Footlocker, right?

Keep asking questions I will answer them all in the morning.

Alright, i think this should be put out there... Don't Spread This Like Wildfire. lets keep this a TOTSE thing, because once enough people start doing it, they will find a way to fix the problem, and we are screwed.

And, wonkierbubble, you are god. you are like a bad ideas messiah.

Thumbs up Re: Has anyone else done this?

I have a couple of questions.

1. Why does the amount of your original card matter?

2. What brand cards did you use? VISA / MC / etc.

My friend sells visa gift cards, so he has uncirculated / sequential cards that he will look at to confirm this.

1. It doesn't it is mostly just for reference. But the higher value, the more stuff you can get.

2. I've used Visa, MC and AmEx before. AmEx works best for me.

I should have said this earlier- listen up. All you need is a number and exp. date, you don't even need an activated card. You could go to one of your friend's houses (if you have any) and just write down the number. Just don't use their number that would be mean.

I agree with Danzig- definetely keep this a Totse thing.

Has anyone tried a random credit/debit card yet? We need to find more sites that don't require that security code. This is quite a find. +1
