I was with a girl today that I like very very much, and there were plenty of oppurtunities that wouldve been perfect Hollywoodesqe kissing moments.
But I just couldnt kiss her.
This is the first time either, its always been like this.
I was just happy lying there and cuddling with her.
I kept telling myself I had to chapped lips but, thats a damn lie.

I used to have the same problem with physical contact, I was very uncomfortable with women touching me cuz I just didnt know what to do. Now Im more confident with myself and I love touching women. (stfu pervs)
I mean cuddling or just leaning friendly when watching tv with a bunch of friends.

Ive had one other kiss in my life (with this verey girl actually) and it was phenomenomally awful.
And I guess Im still somewhat scared of rejection even though I know for a fact that this girl is crazy about me.
And kissing doesnt appeal that much to me, it doesnt disgust me tho, but it just feels more like one of those things you're just 'supposed' to do.

lol i got teh same problem with the whole first move thing. i either do it really really fast so i cant think about it. like grabbing her and being like "hey". or if i know that she wants to.

How old are you? Why do you think that breasts and below the belt are inappropriate? I suppose at first it would be, but now that my girl and I are absolutely in love with each other, and finally completely comfortable with eachother (nearly 10 months of dating) the best places are the breasts and 'below the belt'. Now that she realizes that I don't care if she is insecure about her figure, and that I absolutely love her body like it is, she loves for me to touch and kiss, and suck on her breasts. As far as me getting over being nervous for my first kiss (which was with my current girlfriend) - I just did it. It was awesome. Then after the first couple you just get comfortable with it and you will love doing it. Don't expect to be good at frist, hopefully you don't suck though.

My first was in a movie, I turned to say something to her and she went for it. I had a couple seconds of "Aah! she's trying to eat me!" But then I caught on.

Dude I was in the same boat as you a year ago.

Rewind to feb of last year, I had dated this girl since august, she kissed me on our second date but I was too nervous to ever kiss her back. Every day I went to school telling myself "This is the day I'm gonna kiss her, it is" and when I'd get around her I'd just freeze up. Now we weren't completely devoid of physical contact, mind you, I held her, hugged her, just basically loved being around her but no kiss.

Then one day she was talking about how she wanted to break up because she thought she couldn't give me what I really wanted (stupid girl, thought all I wanted was sex, we lived 45 mins apart so it was hard to see each other alone), and I told her I loved her, she said something along the lines of "you only THNIK you love me" and then "one of these days you're gonna hit me for saying that" and then it immediately occurred to me it was the PERFECT time to kiss her, and I did, it was the most amazing kiss ever with that girl. She pulled back and had this look of surprise and elation, it was the greatest feeling ever to see that happen to her.

We ended up staying together for exactly one year... (The story of our breakup is for another day) But I know for a fact our kiss definitely saved us at that point. Now I'm a kissing MACHINE though, girls say I'm an amazing kisser.

Moral of the story is, no matter how long it takes, you'll know when the perfect time to kiss is. It just dawns on you. And if she really cares she'll understand that.

Me and my first girlfriend lived 45 minutes away from each other, and her mother was horribly protective of her, so we really couldn't date. We went to the same school, though, and basically we were unseperable. We spent before school, after school, and lunch hour with each other, and we wrote several notes back and forth throughout the day. Basically any chance I got to be around her I took. And we never had any problems, everything was perfect and she was the most significant relationship I had.
