Default Question to Jackketch and any other father who reads this

How would you be if one or more or all of your kids hated you?

I don't get along with my dad, everything I do is either a way to make him look good or bad. He says things that are blantant lies, you bring him up on them and he takes you as a fool and extends the lie to a point where I think he is so engrossed in it that he begins to actually believe I'm falling for it or worse, that he actually believes it himself.

He talks gossip way too much, I hate gossip talk, and yet he always asks what did I hear at work today "Nothing piss off, gossips are dickheads like you are" *walks off*

My Father and Mother have been together for like 'forever' I mean I dunno much about how they met, I dunno what day they got married, none of that but they have stayed together ever since, no seperations nothing.

This all has jilted me I feel, as in their has always been a dad around...but not really. We don't talk and never have. We have never done anything together. I've never seen my parents kiss. There is one family photograph of us all together in existence and that was when I was a baby.

When he is dying I won't give a shit. When dead, so long thanks for the burial costs asshole.

So again my question is. How would you feel knowing your own son hated you?

Ohhh please don't insult my dad I love him so Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) maybe it's the reverse buddy. You're dad was far too loving and made you like girls that look like men because he fucked you all constantly, made you cradle his balls and whatever else you two got up to in what I hope was behind closed doors.

Wait a second...this isn't anything to do with me insulting you about the what would be my throwback girls in that other thread is it? Grudges are soooo cool. I was after some drama today thanks for biting loser. I feel good knowing there are types like you out there making me look just that much better (who knew I could look any better huh?)

Haha they broke up because of you. Go cry some more. Did you "just wish they'd get back together"?? You know cause you get along with them both and having them together at the same time would be X2 the parent happiness fun time!

I did it on purpose haha

I suppose...deep down it's a release you know, because my parents don't love me :(

I'm glad my dad doesn't love me, if he said he did all of a sudden or did something to show he cared about me it would freak the hell out of me and I'd probably tell him to fuck right off.

J*A*D*A wants the Full House life excepted his parents relation was wrong from the start and he should never have existed. He sucks anyhow too bad his mum was a slut and opened her legs for his loser father.

ODVIOUSLY you can't see how bad you are typing because the emotion is overwhelming you and you can't see properly behind the tears.

This isn't between me and my parents just me and my dad. My parents must love each other douche and considering I'm not a only child and the age gap between us is a few years with our births all under wedlock I'm pretty sure I can confidently say it wasn't a mistake.

Your parents on the other hand fucked up royally. Exhibit A? The piece of shit you see in the mirror.

Get lost, let the intended responder reply to this.

Hmmm good question, don't really know.

I guess if one of my sons really hated me then I'd simply make sure he went his own way/left home as soon as possible. No one is helped by both being under the same roof.

I'd probably rationalise it and think that with time and him himself becoming a father that he'd 'come round' a bit.

Partly thats why I post so much about my own kids, I want the teens here to get an understanding for their parents. for why their parents say and do the things they do.

I hated my mother all my childhood. I mean REALLY loath. After I left home there were long periods where I had no contact with her at all (longest 'silence' was 7 years!). But with increasing age she and I have got closer. We're still not totally comfortable with one another but we get on well enough these days.

Default Re: Question to Jackketch and any other father who reads this

My heart sank reading this post.. I came from a very tight-knit family.. Hell, growing up, my allowance money was spent on presents for my family!

The notion of hating one of my parents truly scares me.. I definitely was never always understood, given enough space, way overprotected, etc.. But I understood that my parents were only trying their hardest to do what they thought was best.. Even if they weren't sure at times..

My parents always made sure they knew(to some extent) what we were doing and talked with us frequently about our likes and passions.. My family lived by a saying, "todo para la familia." (Yes, my daddy's side of the family is from Spain)

To see any family that was not at least AS connected as my family is, is painful for me..

I really am sorry that you never had a developed relationship with your father.. I really am.. But your nonchalance toward the subject is understandable since you don't know the relationships I have..

I really hope that you do make an effort to talk to your dad about this..

I went through some of these thoughts for a while. My father and I can't be around each other too much because, bless him, he passed on his temper to me - although I'm not nearly as bad (I do have a well tempered mother).
Do you still live at home? I would suggest moving out if you do. Everything got better with my father when I left - we appreicate each other more now.

If you actually 'hate' your father over things as petty as lies, being absent and gossiping, that's just ridiculous. You might not care about him or feel any familial bond, but I very much doubt that you hate him.

Trouser you fail miserably. In your first post you go on about not caring if/when he dies, and then when someone dogs him out you are right there defending good ole daddy claiming you "love" him. You can't talk out of both sides of your mouth and still maintain credibility.

It seems to me you started this thread as some feeble attempt at getting an emotional response from the Totseans, because of your utter failure of getting one from him. As if the opinions of complete strangers can make up for his shortcomings, and give your ego some kind of validation. Just pick a fuckin stance, and back it.....quit wavering one minute to the next. Do you hate him or not? If so, then why come running to his defense as soon as someone starts to insult him.

Nah, you are just holding out hope still thinking that your little Daddy is gonna wake up one day and love you the way you want to be loved. Stop trying to play the role of Mr. Hardcore Badass, when clearly you have "daddy" issues and you've exposed your insecurities to the open public. We ain't buying it, so go wallow in your despair alone.

Yessir, Good point sir.

It's just that, during this thread, I think everyone is spreading around equal dickheadery.

Honestly think it should be locked. Nothing personal but it hasn't helped anyone, and I daresay, even if you guys wont admit to it, its not good for your self esteem either.

How about you only posted in it because it was created by me and that you posted a second time after the first unnescessary post considering I spelt the scenario out. And it's not just for this one thread this bullshit you carry on with just finished being tolerated. You should have got done for spam a week or so ago in my thread saying I wanted to go backstage at a concert.

What you (and I unfortunately since you've dragged me into it) are doing NOW is spam also. Got a problem? Take it elsewhere not in a thread of no relevance to your stupid complaint.

And you've got it going on again in &R&R, see a post of mine, reply in a stupid unhelpful way...why? Going out of your way to be an ass, trolling. Continuously doing it in a manner that offers the community nothing, spam. Bang you're brown bread.

Fair enough, I'll have to take your word for it that you were joking. I still think you are somewhat kidding yourself as far as your "hate" for your dad goes. I believe if you really detested him as much as you do, you wouldn't even care one iota how/what he thinks or feels. I say that because I know full well about hating a parent, as my mom is the most vile, toxic, and disgusting wench to ever walk the face of this earth. She taints any good time, and makes bad times even worse. It repulses me that her blood courses through my veins. Hell, I've even questioned my respect and admiration towards my father because of his choices to be with her. My dad has been dead 20+ years, and I wonder to myself "what the hell was HIS problem".....the fact he married her TWICE, and stuck his dick in her at least that many times considering they had 2 children. Now that I have kids of my own and know what its like to really love and parent children, my loathing for her has only grown to an exponential level.

Now I didn't say all of that to make myself out to be badder, better or even more hardcore than you. I'm just trying to tell you that with true and real deep seeded hate, you have ZERO concern about their needs, thoughts, or worries. It never crosses my mind. Check that, her well being IS somewhat of a concern of mine, because every day that she continues to walk this planet more of my inheritance is being whittled away with every breath she takes. Beyond that I couldn't care any less.

Just something for you to think about......

I've told my parents I hated them before and they've said they hate me. It's what you do when you hate someone in a moment and you don't want to beat them. It's healthy to say you hate someone. There can't truely be hate without love.

Woooh! so much angst in this thread, hard to believe so many of you have parent problems to such a degree!

I adore /love respect my mum n dad so much, they are the best friends I could ever have........ it makes me so sad that other don't have that. My dad may be a dippy old hippy but I know he would do anything for me and I love him to bits cos I know thats for real.

This thread is a bit of a "lol wut"?

I don't wana get into a gay-fest-debate with you Trousersnake, like so many others are willing to do, but come on...

You're throwing back your dad's attempts at being interested in you in his face. You expect him to know you hate gossip and stuff, and you're this serious, intelligent dude with interests in such and such? Maybe you've never told him? If you actually worked on the bond between you guys, took some family photos, asked your parents separately how their relationship is (heh, it's weird to ask, but maybe they wouldn't mind opening up?).

I dunno dude, I know this aint your fault... you've been stuck in a somewhat... static family, where stability is mean to equal happiness and interest... but it's never as simple as that is it!!

Thing about how you'd feel if your dad was run over tomorrow. He's not gona live for ever, and he is your dad, for all his failings. Maybe you should be the big man and take the first step to a real relationship? Suggest stuff to do, and try and let the guy into your head, jeez, i bet he's dying to know what's really goin' on with you!!

Good luck :)

And I can't imagine hating my father to the extent i'd want him dead and wouldn't care about his existence, I think it's very hard to break that "bond" with a family member! If my (potential future) sons hated me though... meh, i'd consider why, and how these feelings had arisen, what i'd done wrong etc. I'd probably try and separate us, give him time to "cool off" and think things over, without giving up on a relationship with him. I'd keep trying, because I would think it's worth it, and because I would feel i'd have more to lose from doing nothing!
