So there's this girl. We've known each other for the better part of 7 or so years. 2 years ago, we kind of hooked up (i.e., she liked me, I liked her), but nothing really came of it due to us both being too emotionally immature.

That kind of died out, and since then I've considered her and I just friends. Well I secretly like her, but I resign myself from ever attempting to hook up again.

Fast forward to last saturday. My family was hosting a party, and she and her parents were invited. We go down to my room, and sit and chat for about 6 hours. I get to telling some stories, and she says "Oh, wow, your life sounds so exciting!" (Its really not. I don't even have a gift for telling stories). We talk some more, talk about hobbies and shit, and we find some common ground there. "You're just full of surprises tonight. You surprise me more and more!" she says.

So somehow, we end up on the bed together. Not doing anything, just laying there. She's laying really close to me. The subject turns to typical girl stuff. ("Leik OMG who do u like? LOL"). I end up being too pussy just to say "You".

Oh yeah, one of the things we talked about for 6 hours was that she is apparently bisexual. But only for one girl.

Anyway, the conversation kind of dies down, partly because we are both tired, (Its 1 am at this point), and partly because we've run out of things to talk about (my life honestly isn't that exciting), and she goes home a little later.

Now, even despite my inability to tell her how I feel, I consider this a good night.

But, as is par for the course, I have to do something to fuck it up. Sunday, me and some friends go out to get drunk. While I am drunk, I get this great idea to call her and try to arrange a date when we can go hang out again. I don't remember much of the phone call, except for me saying "oh fuck studying", after she said she couldn't do anything monday because of piano practice and studying for finals. Also, friends say I sounded really angry for some reason while talking to her.

I called her today and left a message apologizing for being so short with her, and that I really hope we can get together sometime this week.

So now the ball is in her court i guess.

Do you think she really even likes me? I mean, even on Saturday night, I was trying to arrange a time we could see each other again, and she said she was busy all through next week for some reason or another. Excuses? or legitimate reasons? I have no clue.

These fucking mixed signals are killing me. Throughout the night (Saturday) she'd just be touching me randomly ("Like, i'm so glad we could just lay her and hang out", while touching my arm). She also kept saying that i "need a girl" and that we "should do something together some time". Then when I try to actually set a date, she's magically busy EVERY DAY and can't do anything.

So, what do you think totse, is this salvageable?

It's possible. I'd just be careful with your next move. You're obviously good friends, so I'm sure the right time to tell her how you feel will come. I'm also sure it won't be when you're out drinking with your friends. :p

Don't spook her, man. Feed her a carrot to gain her trust and gently stroke her muzzle. Then, when she's ready, throw a saddle on her and ride her until she's all lathered and exhausted. Make sure to have some hay for her.

Sounds like she 's making you work for it (we do that sometimes) How old are you both? That could hold some relevence as to how to take things!

So let me get this straight you are alone in your bedroom laying on the bed with an attractive female talking about how she has had sex with another girl and how you need a girlfriend.

It sounds to me that you blew the perfect opportunity that night and left her feeling confused and possibly undesireable since you didn't try anything.

Remember you have to play to win, what do you have to lose? Sure you might get turned down, but you'll never know unless you try.

thinking about it, it could be a good thing that he didn't. it gets the girl wanting him to make a move more thrus keeping her interested.
