my dad had my (half) sister when he was 19, and shes the least fucked up of any of us. shes lives on 100 acres with her husband, their newborn baby and have 2 pretty nice cars. I deal drugs and have been arrested multiple times for multiple things.

One of my best friends had a kid at seventeen, his girlfriend was sixteen. He's in the military now, and his girl is going to a really good school. They're both happy, and when he gets back from Iraq they'll be moving in together.

once again it all boils down to how well you handle things, if she is pregnant and you 2 feel that you can be happy together,then you marry her get a good job and take care of your family to the best of your ability,if you dont think she is the one you want to be with for a long time,not saying forever because even good marriages fail sometimes,but if you dont think she is the one,just remember you dont have to be married to be a good father to your child,once again ,get a job and be the best father you can be,if she is pregnant dont look at it as something horrible because you dont want to bear resentment to a child who didnt ask to be here,just shoulder the responsibility .....you will do fine either way

I was 16 and he was 17 with our first.. (18 and 19 with our second) I can say that we're definitely not failing.. It takes a lot of work and commitment.. You'll do whatever it takes to give your kids and yourself the best life possible.. You may not be millionaires for a while..
