Who you are, what you have to say, and how eloquently you say it are what will get you the number, or get you denied. There's really not much that I can think of in the way of 'tips' that can be given.

Maybe say something like "You're really cool...we should hang out sometime."

Then go from there. If she seems interested, follow it up with a casual phone number request. "Ok, cool. Can I have your phone number so we can make plans?" Oooor....even give her your number!

Before you know it you'll be doin' the wild thing! ;)

Be yourself...If she liked you then, she'll like you now.

Tell her you gotta leave and that you'd like to hang around with her sometime, therefore needing her number to get in touch to arrange something.

Just do what I do and put your own number in your cell phone uner "Me".

Then, hand her your phone, open, with "Me" highlighted and be like:

"Hey, here's my number if you want to hang out/get bored/ (relate it some something you did last time you hung out)/etc."

First, there's a good chance she'll giggle because you put your own number under the contacts, and it'll give her a chance to add hers in your phone, all on her own.
