So my wife(I'll call her M) went out yesterday at about 4pm with one of her friends(I'll call her L). They where supposed to be going to the pub, but she didn't say when she would be getting back. M left HER phone with me (So no one knew I had it), and said she would call me from L's phone later to tell me what she's doing, and when she's getting back. She didn't phone all night. Then at about 11.30 I get a call from L that went like this "Me: Hello? L:Who's this? Me: It's Para.... L: You all right chick?" Then she put the phone down.

Not only was it a random phone call, but why would L be calling M's phone if she's supposed to be with her?

So about 20 minuets later I get another call. This time it's from some random guy "Me: Hello? RG: ... Who's this? Me: Para, who's this? RG: Sorry I must have the wrong number... Me: Who are you looking for RG: I must have the wrong number". Then he put the phone down. It was from a number that wasn't in the phone book, so I have no way of knowing who it was.

Then a minuet or two later I get a text from the random guy saying "I just called you and some guy called Para answered, are you taking the piss? If this is Para again sorry mate I was looking for Poro" Like he was trying to cover his tracks.

What I don't get is why would L ring what she thinks is M's phone if she's supposed to be with her? Also what's up with this random guy phoning my wifes phone, and then panicking when I answered?

It just seems very strange to me that I would get two random phone calls, and a random text all in the space of an hour.

Now, I'm a little overprotective, and paranoid since me and my wife have had a few problems lately, and even split up for a month last year. So I don't want to jump the gun, but am I right in think my wife's been doing something she shouldn't, or trying to hide something from me?

Did she actually walk out the door with the friend? If so, then that call was to probably touch base and find out when they should meet back up to make the return to your house together. And the guy? Sadly, you probably just spoke to the dude that is sticking his dick into your wife.

She never left with her friend, they where supposed to be meeting at the pub.

This' fucked. Would you all agree, taking the strange phone calls, her going missing when she's supposed to be with her friend and the fact we split up before into account, she's having an affair? Or even if she's not sleeping with anyone she's at least been getting close with another man, or men?
