In all seriousness, that really is a pretty fuckin' shocking story, and whilst it's not the worst thing i've read today (14 year old murdered by kebab shop owners and probably turned into kebab meat) combined with the pictures and the sheer... pointlessness of her death, it did hit home. Amazing how Western decadent technology is BAD BAD BAD, until it's being used to film some poor girl having her head caved in with a brick...
I don't think youse can blame religion for this though; sure it was done in the name of religion, but in the end, that's an excuse innit. People justify their lack of compassion and tollerance through their culture n faith. But those things don't necessarily cause said issues.
