So moms of totse, how was your mothers day?

Kids of totse, what did you do for your moms?

For mothers day my husband brought me 12 roses, a huge cake that said, "Happy mothers day Liz", and we went out to dinner and saw a movie! My daughter drew me a picture of our family, including the dog and our tarantula. It was definitely my best mothers day by far.

I phoned my mother, my grandmothers, and the two women I know that will doubtlessly make good mothers. I also talked to my step-sister who is pregnant and wished her the best for her upcoming baby; it'll be her second.

Most of the people I talked to enjoyed the well wishes and special thought.

Drove two hours to visit my mum, sixty dollars on flowers, twelve on candy, and a two hundred dollar Ipod... only to have her accidentally set my sweater on fire as she lit a cigarette.

Pretty funny in retrospect, actually.

I made my mother breakfast.
Pancakes with jam and cream ( I make a mean ass pancake).
My sister made her a card..
Omi came over for lunch.
And then we went to see a movie.

It was an overall pleasent day.

Yeah. Some total fuck was panicking about mothers day the other week, and I was sure it had allready gone by. But this guy was panicking so much I was like "fuck! I must have been thinking of LAST years mothers day! Fuck!"


I must say, my mum was most suprised, pleased and..a tad confused when these beautifull cut glass perfume bottles and a 'happy mothers day' card came through the post for her.

My mom didn't get anything as she's away galavanting in Europe. Well not really galavanting, but still in Europe, not here, making me yummy food...

She's getting extra presents on her birthday next week though.

I came home hungover at about 2pm. I asked her if she wanted anything but she said save my money. She doesn't like all that typical shit. So i suggested I would pick her a flower from the yard. She didnt want one tho :(

I said "happy mother's day!"

I feel kind of bad that I didn't get her a present, but I forgot about it until the day before. When my mom reminded me...lol

Last year I sold my stash so I could buy her perfume. But then I couldn't find the kind she likes so I had to get her a damn candle. Which is a pretty lame present.

I can't decide what's worse, getting her nothing or funding her present with drug money...Hmmm...

I got my Mum this cool green teapot with cats on it.

She likes cats.

And she asked for the teapot the week before. So she was happy with it.

I was supposed to go visit my grandmothers, but poor planning left me cranky and I decided not to go. I feel kind of bad, but.. eh.

On that note, I helped my BF choose a present for his mum and she hated it. Not in a "I hate your girlfriend so this present is awful" sort of way, but she thought he was patronising her or something (It was a foot heater/massager thing).
