Sherri's back in my life... In fact, she's already moved in...
So, first of all, for those who don't know, Sherri is the 33 year old crack-addicted homeless woman that I had a brief thing with back in October or November.
Well, I recently moved out on my own, to get away from drugs, alcohol, and every other negative influence in my life. Things were going extremely well for the first week or two. But then, one day, on my way out to buy some groceries, I ran into her.
She asked if she could come over, so I said yes. I ended up picking up less groceries than I had planned, and spent the rest on liquor.
We went back to my place where she took a shower and put on some of my clothes. Then after a few shots of whiskey, she persuaded me to lend her $30 for crack.
Then towards the end of the night, I ask her where she'll be going for the night, and she responded with "Well, I was kinda hoping I could stay here."
Me, being the passive, unassertive (but also caring at the same time) person that I am, I said she could spend the night.
Anyway, she ended up sleeping for like 48 hours (she must not get much sleep living in the streets). Then finally, just like an hour ago, she went out to get some money to pay me back as well as to buy some food.
Basically, she just moved in. Things were going great for me. I was turning my life around. But now I'm back to an unhealthy diet, smoking crack, drinking daily, etc...
On the upside, I have a female companion waiting for me when I come home, which is nice since I feel very lonely sometimes. I also get to have sex again.
But I really can't afford to support her. She can only make so much from her panhandling. She has eaten all of what little food I had.
6 months ago, I wouldn't have minded, since I really did have feelings for her (which haven't completely subsided, but are much less prevalent now).
But now, I just want her to leave. But I can't just kick her out into the streets. :(
What do I do?

Awww man, I remember reading that too. Now she knows where you live so you can't just kick her out and be friendly about it or she'll come back when she pleases. I pretty much figure you've got to either let her walk all over you and sleep at your house and fuck your life up or you can just tell her to get the fuck out. Sex is great yeah... not great enough to sacrifice what you've been working so hard to earn.

Contact homeless shelters, police, someone official who can better handle this. If she refuses help, and wants to continue fucking up her life, you can boot her with a clear conscience.
When you run out of money, she will move onto another guy, and completely forget about you. Your life will be fucked, and she will only care about scoring her next hit.

Less is still correct in his meaning, so obviously less is what he meant.

Re: Sherri's back in my life... In fact, she's already moved in...
Well? As an amateur fuck-up, you no doubt find it hard to conceive of what someone like Rhona Raskin means when they say that a relationship can't be founded on one partner being an amatuer social worker. There are no recommendations from any professional/high-class amateur counselors to 'fix' your partner. From what I've seen, they all say that any guy who tries to rescue a 'damsel in distress' & fuck her too? Has serious emotional & maturity problems.
Relationships are best between peers. You can't lift her up...
Why not..let her pull you...dooooowwwwnnnnnnn!? Then you'd be her peer, dude....
Go on....find us One source that says one should pick folks up off the street fuck them & fix them. As if you are in any condition to take on such a case in any case?! You can hardly fix yourself so you want to try to fix someone else.
On the other hand...perhaps, now that it's Summer? You secretly like my idea of you two hitting the road from town to town & shelter to shelter. She & her buds/fuck buddies can teach you 'street smarts'. Hustling/hooking/thieving getting charity help.
Maybe...maybe? You'll get busted, do time & go from metro to bi-thexxual...'Inside'? It would help me with my theory that some guys do prison time so they can get into the gay stuff. It would help if you'd do at least 2 yrs less a day or even more & see if you ...do?
Even if you don't do time, at least you two coud post of your travels & your hustles... Think how much we might enjoy hearing of it all?
Think of US!!!

It's hard to get rid of her, because she is very persuasive. She is one of the best panhandlers ever, in fact. She always has some kind of sob story, earning sometimes up to hundreds of dollars a day.
The unfortunate thing though, is that a crack habit is hard to break. And it is an expensive habit it that. So basically, all the money she makes goes directly to crack.
I may have to be harsh and direct with her. But man, that is going to be hard. Plus... like you said... she *does* know where I live now.

I already suggested all that, but she thinks she doesn't need it.
When you run out of money, she will move onto another guy, and completely forget about you. Your life will be fucked, and she will only care about scoring her next hit.
The thing about that is that I have a place to live, which she doesn't. And I don't see her finding a replacement for that very easily.
Fuck, maybe I should just tell her I'm moving back in with my mom.
:(

Why are you always suggesting that I ruin my life like that? I've put a lot of effort into escaping the negative influences in my life. I just happened to run into Sherri, just out of some weird coincidence. And I really lack the backbone to be able to tell her to leave. Plus there's that minor bit of emotion in me that makes it harder for me to completely push her out of my life.
I mean, my ultimate goal is to get her out of my life, even though it will be hard at first (both procedurally and emotionally). My feelings for her aren't as strong as when I first met her.
Now it's more of a problem with getting rid of her, rather than my feelings for her, as those aren't so much the issue.
I hope this is either sarcasm/irony or some form of tough love, because I will always be a loyal moonmeister fan. :)

What the fuck? His meaning? You're an idiot. Groceries are quantifiable. That means that you can count groceries so you use "fewer."
I can't believe you guys are stuck on gadzooks's relationship issues when it's painfully obvious that they are merely a symptom of his true problem -- improper usage of grammar.
This moron, streetjusticeforall, is enabling gadzooks to continue his downward spiral by making excuses for his poor grammar. I love you, gadzooks, and I hope you get the help you need.

Re: Sherri's back in my life... In fact, she's already moved in...
Dudezor? It's basically summer, right?
http://preview.tinyurl.com/2w5yh3
She could safely sleep outside nude with the help of some newspaper & a sheet of plastic? Why do you need to rescue a hustler in this kind of weather?
What are the chances she'll starve or freeze?
You need your space. Not being manipulated by some Cokey Smiley-Faced Hustler!
She's a good p-handler? Did she pay you back? Or did she smile her way past that? Normal girls often do all sorts of stuff considered by some (even themselves) to be immoral for coke or smack. Why shouldn't a streety do the same?
Druggies often rob their relatives & best friends? Why should she treat you good?
You don't need my help to fuck up... No?

Dude, kick her out. Do it nicely, be a huge asshole, whatever, just get rid of her. Don't really want to go back down that unfortunate path, do you?

Awww.... that's so cute. I'm sure you two were meant to be, too.
Get your shit together, man. She'd just as soon kill you and take your money as she would look at you. She doesn't fuckin care about you, she cares about her crack. Throw her the fuck out and let her die on the streets.

Re: Sherri's back in my life... In fact, she's already moved in...
The least you could do is paint your face in sad clown makeup?
With the Big Shoes? You at least get laughs as you crash & burn, going, "Why me?! Why meeeee!? I'm soooooo good!" All the while secretly believing that she's the best you can do....
What a find you are for her! If she don't have the guts to drink your blood? I bet one of her fuck buddies can do the job. How much is your computer worth for resale? Other assets?
Well...going straight is hard. She'll make a nice excuse to eff-up, eh? Remember...Big Shoes...Red Bulb Nose! :)
